Absolutely love Art Room Spa! The salon has such a positive, welcoming vibe; full of plants, laughter, and great energy. It truly feels like a little oasis. My stylist Sandra is amazing. She knows my hair so well and always puts its health first. I’ve never left unhappy; she’s honest, thoughtful, and always on point with her recommendations. 11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

It was my first time at Hayato. Although it looked a bit dated, the service was exactly what I was looking for. Great shampoo experience and Mina my hairdresser was a super Japanese stylist. She listened to what you wanted and then offered her opinion. Highly recommend for a true New York Japanese hair salon. Thank you!
