Jill is a magician!! The New York winter and water had killed my curls, but Jill brought them back to life. So very professional and taught me about my hair and styling, while also keeping my preferences top of mind. The space is clean and modern, and the Self team were so wonderful.

I had a wonderful experience with Eugene! He listened to my inquiry, took time to look at photos and was very thorough in his application. He walked me through each part of my styling, his attention to precision was unlike any I have experienced before. My hair looks and feels incredible, he knew how to accent and frame my face. The best salon in Brooklyn period. Whether I do a silk press or wig install my type 4 natural hair always looks amazing!! They never have you waiting all day like other stylists Ive been to. It's just amazing, highly recommend.

Victoria was fantastic, she made me very comfortable and the studio is gorgeous and relaxing. It’s been a few days in this heat and my hair feels so healthy.
