The perm that received from Dias was perfect and exactly what I showed him. Dias provided me with the best service, and great time management. I came all the way from Auckland to get this perm, which was a 2 hour drive there and back just to get Dias to perm my hair because of how great he is. Thushi was also a fantastic stylist, and helped with my perm.

Honestly, I’m convinced my barber John deserves a share of my medal from the senior tag nationals, because that haircut was doing half the work out there. The fade was so clean defenders were too busy admiring it to actually grab my tags, and I swear I gained at least 10% more speed just from the aerodynamic effect alone. Every time I stepped on the field, I wasn’t just playing well I was playing fresh. At one point I caught my reflection and nearly missed a pass because I was thinking, “yeah… that’s a medal-winning haircut right there.” John didn’t just line me up, he lined me up for success.

Fresh out the chair, the fade is absolutely lethal. Clean taper on the sides, crispy lineup sharper than a new blade, and the top sitting perfect like it was handcrafted by the rugby gods themselves. Hair looking so smooth the aunties gonna say “sheeesh, that boy been blessed.” Every angle is dangerous, cuz. Front profile tidy, side profile elite, and the back? Oi, proper cinema. Big ups to my barber John too uso didn’t just cut hair, he performed a cultural ceremony with them clippers. Bro had the fade transitioning smoother than island harmonies at a fiafia night. Ahhhh Damn it i missed the valentines day cutoff but all good here we go. So guys listen here and listen close. John Atutolu Kapisi (who also has a billion other middle names cause of his family) is the best barber in all of New Zealand. On everything I love he is. You will never see this guy cut me or any else badly. If you go to him he won't only just cut you up but he'll grow your confidence and attractive attributes by at least 10. If this guy can cut me up once a month and consistently fade me well. On my life he can fix your marriage but also give anyone a fade if you know you know.

Gus has been my barber for 5years at least, what ever shop he's in I'll follow. Jay I've known for a couple of years. Both have amazing skills and service is on point. I wish them both well. if you're in the area stop in. Cutting skills beyond fades.

Before heading to down to the mighty lower north of Rotorua, I made sure to get a fresh cut from John. Siana had the fade so sharp I was checking myself out in every shop window like I was the local attraction. Walked around feeling like a Temu Steven Setu, nodding at strangers and carrying myself like I'd just signed for the Warriors. Chur toks that fade gave me more confidence than my bank account ever has.

This was a phenomenal experience! Mark is a great barber! He was very attentive, allowed me to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, and was an excellent communicator. I am thankful to have found Kirkwood’s Barbers and Mark. I will definitely be coming back!
