I’ve been struggling to find a stylist in Pittsburgh ever since I moved here 1.5 years ago. You’d think a short straight chop bob would be easy but I guess not! All that changes at Hairsmith! She identified what needed to be done to give me the cut I want and fixed a really gnarly haircut I had before. I’ll be coming back for sure!

It took me 20 years to find a salon at home that knew how to cut Asian hair. So when I needed to find a Pittsburgh salon who did that, I was very hesitant. BUT Ash is GREAT!! Helpful to have a reference picture. He matched what I showed in the picture perfectly, and he made sure throughout the haircut that it was what I wanted. Will be doing my annual haircut here!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Jessica at Balyage Portland. I recently moved to the Portland area and have a very specific blonde hair color that took years for my prior hair stylist to perfect. Moving away from her was difficult and I was so nervous I wouldn't find someone that could get my color right... That is until I met Jessica !!!! She literally NAILED it! I couldn't believe it. Christine, the owner, is very very good with color and cut. Probably the only salon in the Pittsburgh area that still uses Framesi hair color, from Italy . It makes all the difference. lastly, the salonists don’t jump from client to client like other salons. When you get an appointment here, it is your appointment for the entire time. I had my hair colored and styled today. The color looks great, smooth and shiny. Caitlin, the stylist is friendly yet professional. I have thick coarse hair and the type of hair dye they use at Alora Spa includes honey which has made my hair much softer than other types of dye used at other salons. I highly recommend getting your hair done at Alora.

My regular stylist MaryEllen is out on a leave. So I’ve had two separate appointments with Lily. She has done an absolutely fantastic job very detail oriented and understands style so well. I had a keratin treatment and then came back a few weeks later for color. Both times she did an absolutely amazing job. I love this place. MaryEllen is fantastic and I really miss her but I’m glad that Lily is there taking great care of clients. I highly recommend this salon. All amazing hard workers with great artistic talent.
