Master Cam is wonderful! I’ve tried various places for haircuts/style in Austin and he has been the best. He is truly talented at what he does and you can clearly see enjoys his job. Everyone who works with him is extremely professional and kind as well. He takes his time to cut hair and go through each step with you and why he is doing something. My hair has never looked healthier or better since I started going to Cam. 10/10. Have recommended him to anyone who asks for hair care (color or cut).

Cam is truly a master of his craft. He took the time to explain the pros and cons of my different color and style options and helped decide what would be the best treatment for me ( ie lasting results and minimal damage). I finally found a stylist in Austin who can skillfully cut and color my dark, fine Asian hair to give me volume and dimension. I’m extremely happy with his service and will be returning.

It was my first time not only going to Smooshine, but an Austin hair salon since moving. It was an amazing experience. The environment was beautiful due to the music, the location, and the aesthetic. I booked my hair appointment with Sam, and it went wonderfully. Not only did he deliver the haircut that I wanted, but he helped me understand why my hair was damaged and how to fix it. He offered a solution in the salon and an at home solution. He was very precise with my haircut, and made it a wonderful experience. This is the best haircut I have gotten!

Needed a haircut badly a few months ago when dropping my daughter off in Austin. Tried Mark and let me sat I made sure to get in to see him again a few months later as I am picking by girl up. Trying to talk him into moving to Nashville!

This was honestly one of the best experiences I have had at a salon! I have been to other salons in Austin but never felt very comfortable or like the stylists particularly cared about my hair. I had a totally opposite experience here and I will definitely be coming back to Smooshine. Jacob was awesome! He was very attentive and thorough and it was just a super high quality haircut and experience. I appreciate the time he took to understand my hair goals, and to explain his methods and why he did them. I will definitely be recommending Smooshine and Jacob to friends.

Excellent precision, attention to detail, and framing of the haircut. My only complaint was the session scheduled for 7 - 8 and it was delayed 20 minutes. But the quality of the cut is fantastic quality.

Jacob did a great job with my hair and answered all my questions I had from styling to product selection! If you are a guy that want great scissor cuts or if you have curls, Jacob is the guy for you!

Finally…finally! My son actually likes his haircut! 🎉 Not only that, he’s officially chosen his hair stylist and now only wants to see Jacob. Jacob really took the time to understand my son’s hair and exactly what he wanted. He was also incredibly patient, even with a little kid wiggle during the appointment. The result was fantastic, and my son left feeling confident and happy with his hair. We’re so glad we found someone who truly gets it. Thank you, Jacob! 🙌🏼✂️

Jacob was very kind and considerate. He was able to help me keep my long hair and help to remove most of my damaged hair. I haven't had layers in years but he made it look very natural and appealing. Wonderful service, I would definitely go back again.

Master Cam did my hair today and I honestly couldn’t be happier!! The cut, the color, the time he spent, and the knowledge he shared throughout the process were absolutely amazing. He’s smart, precise, and truly knows his craft. I felt taken care of from start to finish. Customer for life, I’ll definitely be recommending and returning as soon as I can. Adrian was amazing! My partner had not had a proper haircut since 2019. He has never liked a haircut, today was the first time he not only enjoyed the experience but left LOVING his transformation cut. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Adrian is the best hair dresser or barber I’ve ever been to. They are the only person that’s ever cut my hair so that it looks good the day I walk out of their shop; no need to wait a week or two to grow out. We recently moved from Austin to VA, and every time we’re back in town I’m going to go to Adrian for a cut. Do yourself a favor and get a cut by them.

Got bangs (curtain) for the first time since I was a kid and IM IN LOVE! Adrian did amazing with explaining how my hair would lay and asked me multiple times while cutting my hair what I thought and if I wanted to do this or that etc, and I’m so happy with the result!! Adrian is always so sweet and really listens to their clients!!
