Great experience with the stylist; however, the manager/owner would not allow her to put a toner on my highlights. I told the manager I was going to buy a toner and put that on myself because that IS what I wanted. I have used toners before and toners do not damage the hair. The manager talked to me like I was dumb about chemicals.

Etta is simply the BEST! Her blow drys with tight curls last for at least 4 to 5 days! Etta should teach a class or two to the students on this blow dry style!

I have to tell you, if you are going anywhere to have your hair colored, highlighted, Keratin or any other service at a salon STOP! I encourage you to go to Mak, they not only have great junior students they have senior students with teacher on the floor every day! All their products they use are Redkin. Tatayana has a great beauty institute, save money while supporting these students to keep gaining knowlege on different textured hair. You won't be disapointed, I promise as I have been a loyal customer for over a decade! Stephanie Shyne

Lae, was very kind and professional with me yesterday. I had a color challenge that pushed her in her learning which is always good. We were able to get the perfect color with a little help from Tatiana! After all they need us to learn and I’ve never left unsatisfied. Lae will make a great hairstylist when she gets her wings. ; )

It was great. Asked lots of confirming questions about length (I got about 6 inches off) Super happy with it. The instructor came in at the end to polish the cut a little bit. But great service would recommend.

Yanna was awesome from start to finish! While shampooing my hair, she gave me a scalp massage that was so relaxing, I could’ve napped right then and there. She was very attentive and detail oriented and I was thrilled with the end result. She finished up her schooling yesterday, so I’d like to wish her continued success at her new gig! 🙂

I've been going to Mak Beauty for several years. I saw a new girl today. She did a great job on my root touch up and haircut. My only compliment is their was a language barrier a few times. Other than that, their were no issues. The remodel of the store looks fantastic!!
