I am totally blown away by the exceptional service I received from Kamila for my treatment of power brows. Right from my patch test to treatment day. I was made to feel welcome in this clean calm and relaxing atmosphere. She talked me right through the treatment process, from what she was doing to mapping my brows out and colour. She made sure I was happy by constantly showing me the shape, before she proceeded. Right to the end she took time to talk me through the after care and what to expect until my top up appointment in a few weeks.

I love visiting select. The staff are chilled and friendly. They don't mind who you go with for treatments as long as you're relaxed. They're highly trained & knowledgeable and happy to chat or be quiet if I'm zoned out. The facials and hot oil massages are gorgeous, but don't plan anything afterwards because you'll be so relaxed! They're brow experts. It's not easy finding people you trust who are consistently good. For electrolysis, they're the best in York, I tried 3 other places before finding Joanne. The location is easy to find and has free parking.

Just moved to York, so first time here after going to a different salon for over 4 years and she absolutely nailed it!! Eyebrows are perfect and exactly how I like them, Thankyou xx😍

Lovely haircut by Alex. She listened to my concerns and gave advice while also sticking with what I asked for. Will definitely be back next time I’m in York.

Char is THE best at hair extensions in York by a mile. The blend is outrageous, colour match is spot on, she just knows exactly how to make it look so natural. She’s also the best therapist whilst working! The easiest person to talk to, goes above & beyond to accommodate you with every appointment. Just always a pleasure. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. I had a brow wax/tint and lash tint package. Molly is very good with colour selection and shaping, she never rushes and makes sure they look perfect. Shes always easy to chat with and relaxed. Parked out front, even though it's a race day.

First time at Emerald Beauty for an eyebrow wax and Kaye was so lovely and made me feel very comfortable. Would definitely return!

I had a lovely session with Lauren this afternoon in her beautiful salon. Had eyebrow tint and wax with a bit of added Botox. I also had a very relaxing Dermaplane. I would highly recommend Lauren she is so professional and very friendly.

Fantastic facial today along with LED light facial, eye brow tint and wax. Lauren was very tentative and thorough on explaining with detail what she was doing and what products she was using on my face. I felt relaxed and at ease through out the whole treatment. My face has never felt better! She was amazing and it was extremely relaxing and enjoyable! I highly recommend!
