I had the most amazing experience with Candyce at Jamal Amal Hair Salon! In which from the moment I walked in, she made me feel so welcomed and at ease. She truly understands hair and took the time to listen to what I wanted, offering expert advice along the way. The end result was beyond my expectations. In all honesty my hair has never looked or felt better! Whiles on the other hand her attention to detail, skill, and warm coupled with her personality made the entire appointment such a joy. I can’t wait to book with her again!

After hours of Google searching for the right Stylist I came upon Giulia. From the second I walked in to the salon I felt so welcomed and comfortable. I knew from just that, she was going to be amazing! She did not disappoint AT ALL. Now she is stuck with me, lol. Thank you Giulia!

Absolutely phenomenal! This stylist is, without a doubt, the best I have ever been to. She truly knows her craft inside and out—every cut, color, and style is done with precision and artistry. You can tell she has a deep passion for what she does, and it shines through in her work. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also such a warm, kind, and beautiful person inside and out. I recently visited Jamal Amal Salon to get my hair braided, and I had such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and polite, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. They took their time to ensure my hair was styled perfectly, and the attention to detail was amazing.The atmosphere was warm and inviting, which made the entire process so relaxing. I left the salon feeling confident, refreshed, and absolutely loving my braids! It’s always such a joy to find a place where the service is top-notch and the people genuinely care about making you feel your best.

Where to begin? I walked in with the worst haircut of my life and walked out with a fresh, balanced, and polished new look. Any one else would have screamed. Giulia was so warm, knowledgeable, and patient. She offered a number of different solutions. Having options always makes a client feel safer and more at ease. Without judgement, she restored balance and everything just looked and felt better. She is a true artist. I feel so lucky to have found her. Thank you again so much, Giulia! BLK had a Terrific experience. I was referred to my prior hair stylists. They both independently referred me to the same person. Jamal, and his assistant, did a great job with my hair. I can tell a person's professionalism by my experience in his environment and surrounding staff as well. Jamal was great and so was his assistant - I literally, did not lose any hair strands. None. Amazing. The hair wash was so relaxing....they worked my scalp well. The environment was wonderful. I am growing my nails back just so that I can be pampered more while getting my hair done by Jamal and his team.

I had my first haircut with Giulia & it was wonderful! I wanted a particular haircut, and she explained to me the pros and cons of getting that cut at this point in time, based on my hair length & texture. I was able to make an educated decision on what would suit me and look good based on the information that she provided. She cut my hair beautifully and I loved how it turned out. I'm in the process of growing out my hair a bit, but this interim haircut is lovely. In addition, chatting with Giullia was wonderful- She's very friendly & good hearted...Thank you so much Giulia!

Giulia is an absolute hair goddess. She knows what colors & cuts will look gorgeous on those who visit her salon, & is so focused on making sure the person in her chair has the best experience & end result possible. I was sooooo impressed with what she could tell about my hair habits just by looking at my hair, and her recommendations were absolutely spot on. She has the best energy—the time at her salon passes in a flash because you’re laughing, sharing stories and just having an incredibly positive experience. I recommend her unreservedly for anyone that wants to show their hair love!! 10/10

Giulia, is a stylist that cares, listens and executes. As a new first time clien, she made me feel so welcomed, comfortable and at home especially in the neighboorhood. Her salon is small and intimate which I love, she is very transparent, compassionate, patient and understanding. Moving forward, she will be my permanent ♾ hairstylist. Please note, Giulia is a perfectionist and she will take her time so please make your appt accordingly. Looking forward to her expanding her services.

Giulia is incredible! She went above and beyond to make sure that every detail of my hair was perfect. The cut and color are both flawless. This is a place where you come in as a stranger and leave as family. The vibes are super warm and welcoming and Giulia’s love and passion for her work is what makes this place one of a kind. Giulia goes above and beyond for her customers and most importantly she has a tremendous talent to do hair. You can go to her looking like a chihuahua and will come out looking like a super model. 🤣

Sunday's visit was pleasant one. The room clean, neat and cheerfully decorated. We listened to music and had great conversation. Candyce has magical hands and did a great job retwisting and interlocking my hair.

Took my 3 year old for her first hair cut, she was scared and really didn’t want to be there- but the entire team was so over the top amazing from the moment we walked in!! They were all so patient, kind, talented and wonderful!! Serhat was an absolute angel with her. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Her hair came out beautiful and they treated her like a princess! We will be back from CT for every future haircut! Thank you!!
