I recently moved to Cardiff and was thrilled to discover this gem near Finsbury Park, where I now live. Absolutely delighted with my waxing by Mona — as anxious as I usually am with waxes, she was so gentle and delicate that I honestly didn’t feel a thing. She put me completely at ease, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! And then the haircut — wow! Having a pixie cut style, I need to find someone who truly knows how to cut short hair. And Milu absolutely nailed it! He completely understood what I wanted, really listened, and delivered exactly the look I had in mind.

As someone who hasn’t ever been able to trust a hair salon with my 4c hair, I can gladly say I was incredibly well taken care of at Chop Chop! Stella handled my care with so much care, I was consulted at every step and my afro has been trimmed to perfection. Immaculate service with Jammi! My hair feels so healthy after my protein and hydration treatment with crisp trim. My Fulani cornrows with rear two twists in the back are neat, secure, and tension-free. Finally found a stylist who cares about both style and hair health, highly recommend!

Had the best first experience at Chop Chop old st!! Stella really listened and understood exactly the style I was looking for and is super skilled in cutting hair in a way that works for your unique hair type. I have never been to a hairdresser that gets my hair, but Stella really did! I’m so so happy with the result and will definitely be back again. Sheleana done a great job with my hair. I have afro hair and wanted a texture release, my hair felt so silky afterwards. I would recommend and will be coming back. Great service and lovely salon.

A very skilled haiedresserrook my box dyed bright red hair to a much more natural browny red tone in just under two hours. She did a fantastic job, i'd thoroughly recommend this salon.
