This is without a doubt the best salon in Bournemouth. I get a lot of compliments on my cut since I discovered Redlocks. Paula is so professional, very experienced and really listens to her clients.

I haven't been my natural colour for many years. With some cleverly woven highlights, lowlights, toners, and then A line bob cut and finish. WOW, AMAZING 👏 🤩 thank you Ruby xx

Micheal and Lauren understand hair like no other hairdressers I’ve been to around the world, they are individually creative and constantly produce the results I want. I always leave happy after any kind of hair day, from just a blow dry to full head highlights to balayage, I’m lucky to say I’ve got them as two brilliant artists, at my side through every occasion or every time I just need a little pick me up! Also on a side note, they put up with my constant speaking and random thoughts which is a challenge that deserves a reward in itself. Always a pleasure, thanks again Ruchie team!

Kelsea transformed my hair which was starting to look too warm and brassy with a beautiful full head of creamy bright highlights. I am very pleased with the result and can highly recommend her.

Lauren did an amazing job with my hair, blending in my balayage beautifully. She was extremely gentle ( even with my challenging curls) and listened to my needs while offering helpful advice. I can’t recommend her or Michael enough. This is my second time visiting and certainly will not be my last! Thank you so much :)

Thank you Georgie for my beautiful blonde highlights. Georgie is a very professional hairdresser, very knowledgeable and knows exactly what will look right with her customers. Both my daughters are also her clients. Excellent customer service, very friendly and chatty. I am delighted. Next appointment rebooted for December. Caroline the Owner is always very friendly and chatty and the salon is beautiful and very contemporary. 5 stars 🌟

Had a lovely experience at Redlocks. Hugo was really professional and made me feel really welcome and comfortable throughout. We had a quick chat at the start of the appointment and he listened carefully to what I wanted, and always took the time to explain what he was doing to make sure I was happy. I left the salon with gorgeous, healthy beach waves that lasted all day and still looked lovely even after being out all evening (almost unheard of in my fine, flat hair!). Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a good hair salon in Bournemouth!

First visit to Michael , I am one of the many wanting to embrace my natural colour now after years of highlighting my hair - I had grown the highlights out for 6 months. Michael toned my hair to blend the old highlights in and then did a great choppy cut. Haircut fabulous, colour is great - just different/darker to how I normally have it - blends well though. Let’s see if I can get used to it! Excellent friendly professional service and advice.

Had highlights, toner& root smudge done today with Ruby & Blow dry with Brooke I’m really pleased with tihe results , really natural looking , I wasn’t sure what I really wanted/needed & Ruby recommended colours which I love , Thankyou Ruby& Brooke amazing as usual xx

Zara-Jade was amazing! My cut and highlights were done to perfection, and I was blown away by her knowledge and expertise. She was incredibly friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I cannot recommend Zara-Jade enough.

Older lady here! Booked to get a few warm blonde, highlights to break up my grey, dull, hair. This was my first time seeing Michael and I was incredibly impressed with his professionalism and friendliness and understanding of what I actually wanted! I visited today to be a ‘model’ for some trainees. I had highlights in a ‘T section’ along with a trim and a blast drying (my hair dries so fast anyway). At any one point I had at least two people working on my hair and I must say everything was perfect….

Paula was so lovely. My first time coming here/ finding a hairdresser in Bournemouth to go. I’ve always been scared to try somewhere new. However, the minute I went there it was perfect. I love all the flowers and decorations in Redlocks, I think it’s really nicely designed and everyone is so welcoming. One of the best haircuts and dye that I’ve had and I’ve gotten so many compliments. I will definitely be coming back here when it needs doing again x I really love it thank you🩷
