I went to this spa for a Japanese face massage (KOBIKORUGI) and it was incredibly relaxing. From the warm welcome to the foot soak (with my choice of essential oil!), everything felt thoughtful and calming. My aesthetician was so kind and explained the service in advance, which helped me fully relax. Afterward, I was treated to tea and a snack, a lovely touch that made the experience feel complete. I can’t wait to go back!

Nikki was AMAZING!! I went for body oil massage and LED therapy for my face but I wasn’t sure if the LED was a suitable option for me so, Nikki helped me to choose an option that best suits me. She suggested I go for a body detox and a head massage and it was GREAT!! The body massage was amazing as well, the oil bag, the hot stone and the massages were just fantastic! I am definitely going back 🫶🏻❤️

Had a fantastic appointment with Joshua! Wasn't looking for anything complicated, but had a lovely session which began with aromatherapy and scalp massage. Got a a great haircut that I'm really happy with, and enjoyed chatting with Josh and the other stylists and clients during my appointment. I find the online booking option super easy and helpful. Will be back!

We did the couples combo korugi/kobido massage. Very relaxing that we fell asleep! We started off with an essential oil foot soak and was led to a couples for the massage. Was able to adjust pressure and overall very relaxing that I had to fight to stay awake. Massage ended in a separate tea room with a rice cracker and hot tea. Overall very pleased, will book again the next time we visit Vancouver!

Great service. My fav part was the stone massage. Would definitely recommend to others. Little weird to blow dry my hair laying down lol but it didn't look as crazy as I thought it would. Will be back for sure

Absolutely amazing experience! The upper body coconut oil massage was blissfully relaxing, then the deep sleep Japanese scalp head massage by Nonoka sent me dreaming twice. The people behind all aspects of this experience are outstanding, their techniques, skill and friendliness are out of this world. Than you again and looking forward to coming back again soon.

Excellent first experience getting a head massage, ever! The spa was calming and clean. There are other clients around, but you would never notice. It's extremely quiet and you become so relaxed that you forget where you are. I'll definitely come again for another head massage and facial!

I had an excellent experience! Casey did an amazing job with my hair and my hair is not easy to colour or straighten. I also thought the hand massage added a certain “Je ne sais quoi” to the experience. I will definitely be coming back to Casey 😊

Very quaint spa in downtown Vancouver. Anna was my masseuse and she was very cordial and skillful. My neck and shoulder tension greatly improved at the end of the session. I came here for a couple coconut oil massage with my partner to celebrate his birthday. After the treatment, we enjoyed a cup of refreshing treat and Japanese treat In a private, traditionally decorated room. Thank you Sanatio!

Quite honestly the best massage I have ever had. Yumi read my muscle tension to the tee and the pressure was PERFECT for the entire treatment. I wish I would have found this place sooner as am not from Vancouver and this will be my last trip here for a while. Only thing that caught me off guard was the level of static in the massage table dressings. Pre and post massage experience were phenomenal.

Highly recommend! I had an amazing massage session focused on relaxation, and it was exactly what I needed! The atmosphere was calm and soothing, with soft music and a comfortable space that immediately put me at ease. The therapist was professional, attentive, and really listened to what I needed. Wow! My first visit to Trim Salon absolutely exceeded expectations! The salon is adorable—clean, warm, and instantly comfortable. Josh was incredible. He took real time to understand my vision, explained options honestly, and his service was exceptional from start to finish. The shoulder, head massage, aromatherapy, wash, cut, and styling were all included—and the price was incredibly reasonable. My hair turned out PERFECT. Better than I hoped for and exactly what I described. Josh even gave me personalized after-care advice and a clear plan to help me grow my hair to my ideal length & style.

Hi I let my hair grow very long. I am 65. I used to wear it very short. I enjoyed the feminity of it in its length. But it seemed a bit informal and I wanted it shorter. Josh listened to me heard me and took off 5”. It is a classic look. He didn’t rush the blow out. The aroma and massage was so nice. Thank you. I will definitely be back!!!

It's such a wonderful place. All the staff are helpful, friendly, and attentive. I love the Aveda tea in the giant mugs they give you and the hand massage kit with a little chocolate on the side. All these extras are lovely and are one of the many reasons I am—and will remain—a very loyal customer. Oh, and my hair colour has never been better—Josh has magic hands and is a master of colour.

Headspace massage and service was excellent. However, I found the environment a bit claustrophobic- there are no windows and there are a bunch of massage tables blocked off with curtains like cubicles back to back. Nice Roman chamomile essential oil used but then later I could smell a cloying stink - not sure if a different customer came in after smoking pot or maybe the place just needs better circulation. The bathrooms are for the whole floor (it’s in an old professional office building) and they appear clean but kind of smell of sewage. But a turn-off. Will return for the HeaSpa tho!
