I spotted this salon while walking around the area a few days ago and booked an appointment to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! Haru had just moved to Melbourne from Hong Kong after working in Tokyo and Osaka. He was incredibly stylish, skilled, patient, and paid great attention to detail. He gave me a fantastic haircut and also took the time to show me how to style and maintain it at home. Highly recommended. Thanks, Haru!

Maed by salon is both luxurious whilst having warm at home comfortability, unlike anything I’ve experienced in the best way possible… then add in a sprinkle of Sonja, who is undoubtedly one of the most talented hair stylist in Melbourne to the space & you not only look your best but feel it too! I discussed my ideas for my hair with 2 stylists. One did my cut the other the colour. Both stylists ( Louisa and Joshua) explained exactly what we had planned. My appointment was on time. Louisa and Joshua were professional, friendly, very informative and great fun. They were able to give me advice about products for my hair without being pushy. I loved the final cut and colour would highly recommend this salon

Such an amazing experience, felt I got exactly what I asked for with my cut, and the stylist gave an in-depth consultation to ensure he knew what I wanted. Service had extremely reasonable price, and everyone in the salon was so polite and helpful. Will definitely be returning soon!
