Anna is a wonderful hairdresser and colourist. I live in London and I now book my hair cuts and highlights in with her when I am in Plymouth. She cut my nine year old’s hair today and she was so kind and takes such care in her work - my daughter loves the cut!!

I was looked after very well by Chloe at my first time to David&David Plymouth. She gave me a full head of highlights and then a cut. I have curly/wavy hair and i find it hard going to new places to have my hair cut. I was really happy and left the hairdressers feeling great! This is unusual for me because usually it isnt styled/cut correctly at other places Ive been. But she did exactly what I was hoping for! Thank you Chloe. I’ll be coming back soon for my next cut/colour.

First time at Vaughans Hair and Beauty and I can honestly say what a treat. My beard had gone full wildebeest but Anna worked her magic and transformed me into something resembling a well groomed supermodel. Or at least someone who no longer frightens children! The whole experience was incredibly relaxing and one of the calmest trims I’ve had in ages. The salon has such a peaceful vibe and the view of Plymouth Sound and Drakes Island was genuinely stunning. Huge thanks to Anna for the care the chat and the craft. I’ll definitely be back.

I was a tourist visiting Plymouth for a couple of weeks, and Nancy and the team couldn’t have been friendlier. Nancy also does a great job with eyelash extensions. Very excellent Salon!

I had my hair cut by Phoebe and she did an amazing job! My hair is really curly so I’m always a bit nervous about getting it trimmed, but she handled it perfectly. She really understood how to work with my curls, and I absolutely love the results. She also sent me a detailed curl hair method and product list of what she used on me which is so helpful. Highly recommend her! 🥰

I was visiting Plymouth at the weekend for a birthday celebration and made an appointment to have a bouncy blow dry at this salon. I was made to feel very welcome and had and had my hair done by Anna who is a lovely lady and she blow dried my hair exactly as I requested. Thank you so much ❤️ xx

This is by far the best hairdressers in Plymouth. Anna is an excellent hairdresser and colourist. She gave me wonderful highlights. I would highly recommend her. I then had my haircut with Vaughan and he not only takes his time, but gives you a haircut that suits you as an individual. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I love visiting and can’t wait to go back.

Truely amazing experience, thank you. I will be back in six months. Having my hair cut has always been a nightmare due to how curly my hair is. Hairdressers are either too scared or want to straighten it first to cut it. That's a big no no and Jonathan truely understands the nature of curls and how to treat them. Thank you

Brilliant curly colour, cut and blowdry again with Sue. She advised and sorted out my terrible box dye I'd done at home. Brought it back to natural colour and styled it to perfection for my hols. Thanks so much.

I was so anxious going to a new hairdresser but desperately wanted a curly cut to help me on my journey of embracing my natural waves after years of straightening. From the moment I stepped in I was welcomed and taken to a chair ready even though I was early. Phoebe was absolutely lovely talked me through everything and answered all my questions I felt so comfortable and the results were amazing the difference in my hair is unbelievable…thank you so much!

My 5th hair cut by Sue and so happy with my new Bob. I have previously had the curl by curl cut but felt like a change. It really makes a huge difference in the quality and manageability of your unruly hair when cut with a expert on curly and wavy hair. I have awful hair where is super thick at the back but thin at the front, but after cleaver cutting on prior appointments I now have a perfect Bob which looks super thick and even 😊plus heather too!

First time I have visited this Salon but will definitely be using them as my regular hairdressers. My curly hair has a new lease of life and the highlights look amazing. I am so happy to have found someone that understands my normally unruly mop of hair. I received a lot of information from Sue on how to look after my curls going forward. Sooo happy. X

Had a curly cut with Sue today and she is fantastic. My curls have been so flat and heavy for a while and she’s spruced them right up! I have volume and lovely curls now. She spent so much time teaching me how to look after my fine hair, gave product recommendations and was lovely to chat to. Highly recommend!!
