Seren did a great job giving me a mix of highlights and lowlights, I’ve only had highlights once before so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but I was really pleased with the result. Been going to Brodans for years, as someone who used to hate going to hair salons (like other people hate the dentist!) I’ve always felt relaxed and welcome here.

Lived in Cardiff 8 years and tried so many salons. This is the only one I’ve stuck with. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel welcome, no bitchiness or drama, people SMILE AND SAY HELLO. Darla is amazing, goes above and beyond and gets more excited about my hair than me haha. They put your hair first, give you realistic expectations and advice, and do everything they can to make you feel nice about yourself. It’s actually a treat to go instead of anxiety/a chore. Their products are lush, smell amazing and my hair is now in amazing condition. They cheer each other on and it’s just lush🩵

Went to Bel for my first haircut in Cardiff - Wonderful service, perfect haircut and finish, Bel was amazing I showed her some pics and she smashed it! Will definitely be back - also Massive congrats on being a finalist in Best New Salon at Hair and Beauty Awards UK! Well deserved xx

Highly recommend Ellie at True Colours. We travel out from Cardiff to see Ellie, great long-hair cutting, styling and finishing. Ellie is always warm and welcoming and we have great chats, she always makes you feel relaxed and is super efficient and great at her job. X2 Teenage and one mum hair appointment today- we are all very happy and loving the new styles. Thanks Ellie x

Mollys the best, i came post night shift and was treated to coffee and chocolate on arrival, had the best time chatting for hours! And i totally trusted her with my hair, with just the idea of going blonder and she ended up creating the perfect balayage! I walked out the best blowdry and felt amazing! As always excellent experience at True Colours, I am a returning customer , first time at the new salon. I had half head Highlights/lowlights the results are always consistent and just how I like it. Thank you Ellie! The new salon is great, easy to find with plenty of parking.

Another lovely visit to have a full head of highlights and a cut and blow dry. Shaunny did my hair today for the first time and I am really pleased with it. She knew exactly what I wanted and is very friendly welcoming and excellent at what she does. I can’t recommend this salon enough. Thank you Shaunny see you soon xx

Had a full colour correction and balayage with Molly today and it was an amazing experience. This was the first time I’ve had a proper consultation, been genuinely listened to and properly advised. First visit to Alice and in LOVE with my new colour! After having a little break from colouring my hair, and some "stripey" balayage in the past, Alice spent time making sure she knew what I was after, advising where needed, and I left super happy with a beautiful, blended foiliage. Highly recommend and I'll definitely be back!

I couldn't be happier with my hair! Ellie has been doing my hair regularly since April 2025, and every single appointment has been amazing. The balayage is always beautifully blended and looks so natural. My cut is fresh and flattering, and the blow dry and styling finish it off perfectly every time. Ellie really listens to what I want and always offers great advice to keep my hair in perfect condition while going blonder. I completely trust her. She makes me feel so at ease at every appointment — she’s professional, friendly, and incredibly talented. I wouldn’t go anywhere else🩷
