The student barber was very attentive to the desired outcome I requested. As someone who has come here many times for the under-cut clean up, I’ve had the experience of watching many student barbers practice and master their techniques. This particular student, took the time to ensure that he was setting up the parameters for a cut and clean-up that met my request. He utilized several tools and showed proficient markers. A quick reminder just be mindful of the skin sensitivity when it comes to the broad clientele he will serve. Appreciate the time and effort along with the pride he took.

For the second time in a role I have gotten a Great Haircut from my barber ( Pat ), and to top it off, the haircut costed me less than $10 compared to $40 at any barber shop💈. From the way things are looking today, someone set me up for an appointment with Pat at A Better U for 2wks. Thanks again Pat!!

Great place to get haircuts. The staff members and barbers are very professional and courteous. The receptionist Mrs Terry always receives you with a smile. My go to barber is Joshua Sanchez, this guy attention to detail and skills are incredible. Highly recommend!

Barber in training Omar was a nice person and tried to help me feel comfortable. Detail oriented and in the end produced a pretty good haircut. He could have been a little more gentle with the clipper guards and not put pressure down on my head to keep it still, and maybe listen a little more closely to client input. Good guy though and I'll probably come back.

I didn't catch the girl's name that cut my hair but she did an amazing job and she's already a good barber but once she graduates she'll be even better! But besides that the front desk girls are kind and the instructors are good at guiding the students without actually taking over and cutting your hair, overall a great experience and I'll probably come back again whenever I need a haircut.
