Harix was amazing with my curly cut. He took the extra time to talk through styles - I only had a few directions and no particular style request. I'm so happy with the way he understood and cut my hair, he's very experienced and loves cutting curly hair. He also took weight off my curls to give them some bounce. Would 100% recommend for all curly cuts.

My comments should really be called a tribute.! Roots Radicals Salon is quite an incredible discovery!!!!! Hairix , proved that there are stylists who have a special connection to their craft, to their art and that they do exist. These empowered stylists are tasked with hairdressing not as a practice but more as a celebration. In other words they are really connected. My visit with Hairix was not only a great personal experience but also a great learning experience. Hairix showed me how to love my hair and how to keep it happy ,healthy beautiful and nurtured!!!!!

Incredible first experience! Kimberly asked great questions to get a sense of my hair, style, etc. She really took her time to understand my hair and also offered plenty of advice and recommendations. I don’t think I’ve ever been this satisfied after a haircut, can’t wait till my next visit.

Sarah is great! Perfect pixie cut as usual! I'm always impressed of how little styling I need to keep the cut in shape after visiting the salon. I'm not adventurous with colors and Sarah found the prefer shade to match my natural hair. Very satisfied!

Roots Radical is a wonderful neighborhood salon, with the kindest staff, very clean space, & great products. Rochelle is amazing, I only let her cut my hair. She takes time and care and I am always happy walking out. She got my hair healthy again after having extensions. Highly highly recommend!

Mel made my experience amazing from start to finish. Super attentive and took her time with my hair. She used all natural products that felt and smelled so good. The style came out even better and neater than I expected. Not only did the style look great but she was also very helpful in answering questions about natural hair care and giving advice. I will definitely be back when it’s time for a retwist.

Nothing beats getting your hair laid while having great conversation in a cozy, home salon early on a Saturday morning! I had the two stand twist Marley extensions and it came out beautiful!
