Depending on how quickly your nails grow, your Russian manicure is likely to last between 3-4 weeks.

A Russian manicure (also called an e-file manicure or dry manicure) is a nail technique that uses an electric file to precisely remove the cuticle and clean around the nail plate, rather than cutting or pushing cuticles by hand. The result is an extremely clean, flush finish with gel or colour applied right to the skin. It originated in Eastern Europe and has become one of the fastest-growing nail treatments globally, known for its exceptionally neat appearance and longer-lasting results.

Unlike traditional manicures, which soak your cuticles in warm water before trimming or pushing them back, a Russian manicure uses an electric file or drill to precision-clean your cuticles and remove any extra cuticle from beneath your nail bed. They are sometimes referred to as ‘dry’ manicures. Some people believe Russian manicures are shinier and longer-lasting.

Russian manicure technique paired with a French tip finish is one of the most in-demand nail looks right now, clean, precise and elegant. Browse and book nail technicians near you who specialise in this style.

Expect to pay anything from €35 to €50 for a Russian manicure in Dorp.
