What is a personal trainer and how can they help me?

A personal trainer is a professionally qualified fitness coach who creates bespoke fitness programmes for their individual clients based on each client’s personal goals (e.g. weight loss, muscle gain). They will instruct, demonstrate, and advise you to use specific equipment (resistance, weights, machines etc.) or practise movements that simply relies on your own body weight to help you improve your fitness levels.

How do I find a good personal trainer?

Word of mouth referrals are great, but if you don’t have the luxury of knowing someone with a brilliant personal trainer (PT), do your own research.
