Deya is the best! I have thick hair and I was worried about if KMB Studio didn’t have texturizing shears, but thank goodness I asked! They have shears to help thin your thick hair out if you don’t want to deal with a puffy lion’s mane especially with Chicago’s humidity lol! 🦁😜 and the conditioning mask made my hair feel soft and less frizzy! This is my second time coming to Banana Nails and I’m happy to say I’m very pleased with the shop! The girls are all so friendly and kind. My nail tech Mya is amazing! Even tho I get the basic E-file manicure with a clear polish, my nails end up so pretty and fresh! Mya is so gentle and great at her job! Highly recommend!

The staff was friendly and could tell I was new to the whole manicure experience, so they were patient with me as I obviously didn't understand what was going on most of the time. Other nail salons seem to enjoy making a guy suffer with a nail file, but my nail tech (is that the correct term?) was an angel. I experienced no discomfort getting my nails done for the first time ever.

Emmy at Lamit is AMAZING! I brought an inspo pic and she delivered perfectly, first try! First time with her, and she was so kind, patient, and never rushed. She truly listened. For months I struggled to explain the exact shape and length I wanted for my nails. Emmy nailed both on the first visit! The heart nail art came out gorgeous, just like my reference. She's clearly talented and genuinely cares about her clients. I'll be booking again as soon as her availability opens, can't wait! Tatiana always does a perfect job! I love how meticulous she is and they always last more that four weeks. I also have terrible dry cuticles that I swear grow faster than normal and the e-file work she does is amazing.

Yolanda has great experience with facial waxing I just love the job she did as a first time lay person experiencing a waxing of the face she did a fantastic job my face after the redness wore down at the end of the day it looks fabulous I can’t wait till she has to do it again. She also does my real nails with a gel topping on top of them and a no chip polish and I’ve gone 2 1/2 to 3 weeks and they last and look like they were just done she is amazing she is the gal to go to or her 2nd hand Flor she also is great

At first thought as I pulled up I thought the blowup flamingo was quite cute , then I went into the shop and told the gal that I was here for my mani/pedi as she greeted me very nicely and politely I said this was my first time coming and she told me that since I signed up for a no chip mani/pedi that I should pick a color out she gave a great manicure . Then it was time for a pedicure she started but had to pass off because the other gal was educated and licensed in helping the other customer with her spa treatments and the lady she gave me did a wonderful job on myself for my pedicure

Absolutely love this salon! Kayla is amazing and she truly takes such great care of my hair. I honestly walk in feeling like a mess and leave feeling like my best self. Erica is a brow magician, she takes the time to shape my eyebrows in a way that flatters my face perfectly. The whole salon has such a friendly, relaxed vibe, and the space itself is super cute and stylish.
