The length of a make-up session depends on the type of make-up and the complexity of the look. Generally, a make-up session can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. During the session, your make-up artist will consult with you to determine the look you want, prepare your skin, and apply make-up products to create your look.

When choosing a make-up artist, it's important to look at their portfolio and see if their style aligns with the type of service you're looking for. Read reviews and ask for recommendations from friends or family. Meet them in person ahead of time if you can, and make sure to communicate your needs and preferences clearly to ensure you get the look you want.

Arrive with a clean, moisturized face, and bring inspiration photos so your make-up artist can give you the right look. If you have sensitive skin, bring your own make-up products to avoid any potential allergic reactions. And if you plan on changing outfits later in the day, wear loose-fitting clothing so you don't smudge your face when you get changed.
