It was amazing. Hope was able to take down my previous hairstyle, wash, blow dry and crochet my hair all in one appointment. The hair wash was therapeutic. She gave a great scalp massage. I had a wonderful experience getting my eyelashes done at Dark Shugar Hair & Beauty Studios on Ellice. The place was clean and comfortable, and the lash tech was gentle, patient, and really knew what she was doing. My lashes came out beautiful—full, neat, and exactly the style I wanted. I’m very happy with the results and would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to get quality lash extensions.

Thank you very much for taking care of my hair. I look forward to coming back. My experience was good, but it could be excellent with a few improvements. What would take the experience from good to excellent is clear communication and involving the client in the process. For hair treatment, it is important before starting to explain the steps to the client, and then to let them know which products will be used on their hair. This part is very important because some clients might not like certain products or ingredients, sensitivity or allergies. I will see you in 3-4 weeks. Blessings!

I came in for a natural hair treatment and I really liked the service. Stylist Hope was very friendly from the start and handled my hair gently during the wash and detangling process. Overall, I had a good experience. However, my sister-in-law, whom I recommended, was assigned a different stylist and did not have as positive an experience. I would consider visiting again, but only if I can book with stylist Hope.

Karina did a very thorough job. I seldom see that kind of care taken any more. I especially like the extra work to remove the cuticle. I’m often annoy because the technician has not even bothered to consistently pushed the cuticle back. I will be back.
