Leg waxing is a hair removal method for the legs. Your skin also needs to be as oil free as possible, so take care to shower, exfoliate, and refrain from moisturising your legs before your appointment. Lastly, make sure that the skin on your legs isn’t sunburned or broken, and tell your beauty technician about any moles on your legs that may need protecting from the wax.
You’ll need your legs to be exposed, so you’ll either need to remove or adjust your clothing so that your waxing therapist can access the areas of your legs you want waxed without risk of getting wax on your garments. When you’re ready, warmed soft wax is spread thinly onto your legs, and wax strips placed firmly on top. The strips are quickly pulled off in the opposite direction of your hair growth, taking your hair out from the root in the process. Your waxing should take between 30-45 minutes depending on whether you’re having a half or full leg wax.
