What is leg waxing and how is it done?

Leg waxing is a hair removal method for the legs. Hair removal is achieved by placing hot or cold wax on your legs, then stripping it off quickly in the opposite direction to your hair growth to extract hairs from the root. What are the different types of leg waxing?

There are two types of leg waxing: full leg – which removes hair from the top of your thighs to the base of your ankles – and half leg – which removes hair from below your ankle to just above your knees, or from your thighs to your knees.

When you’re ready, warmed soft wax is spread thinly onto your legs, and wax strips placed firmly on top. The strips are quickly pulled off in the opposite direction of your hair growth, taking your hair out from the root in the process. Your waxing should take between 30-45 minutes depending on whether you’re having a half or full leg wax.
