Unlike other bikini waxing treatments, a Hollywood wax is a hair removal method that uses hard or strip wax to remove all hair from the bikini area and backside.

Is Hollywood waxing painful and how can I minimize discomfort?

Yes. The skin around your intimate area is particularly sensitive, so to minimise the discomfort you may feel during your appointment, you should exfoliate 2 days before your treatment (this helps to ensure the wax grabs your hair, not your skin) and keep your bikini area out of the sun. What should I do to prepare for a Hollywood waxing session?

Your pubic hair needs to be long enough for the wax to be effective, so make sure it’s at least one quarter of an inch (0.6cm) long before you attend your appointment.
