Another amazing haircut. I don't live in New York, but whenever I'm in town, I make sure to come and get my haircut with Rodica. My barber in the town I live in butchered my hair and miraculously she was able to get everything back to normal. Strong recommendation again.

Jill is a magician!! The New York winter and water had killed my curls, but Jill brought them back to life. So very professional and taught me about my hair and styling, while also keeping my preferences top of mind. The space is clean and modern, and the Self team were so wonderful.

Always receive great color, exactly what I ask for plus great recommendations. I have never left unhappy. They are also the fastest hair coloring I have ever received. Full head balayage plus roots - completely done and out the door in less than 1.5 hours. Everyone is extremely friendly, place is clean, and fair priced. I have yet to receive a hair cut, but expect they will do great job.

I love my color! I had it done the Sunday before last for the second time by Maria-Blair Serrano and she is truly talented -- I am so happy I have found my new colorist. I am very particular and precise about what I want, I have been coloring my hair for 30+ years. Maria listens very carefully and takes the time to understand what you want the end result to be. She is thoughtful and deliberate, and it's obvious that she really enjoys her work and cares about her clients. I love the dimension and depth she brought to my highlights, and she did it all without damaging my hair, I'll be back.

What a great experience as usual. I went in for a cut and blowdry but after arriving I decided I'd like to get highlights as well. I'm so happy with how everything turned out. My highlights are very natural and so beautiful. The color she picked compliments my skin tone and natural hair perfectly. The haircut is gorgeous. Exactly what I asked for. I cannot say enough amazing things about this salon!! From the second you walk in you’re treated like family and made to feel so comfortable. I got my hair cut and colored by Ena and she was AMAZING!! She was so kind and thoughtful when doing my hair checking in with me along the way making sure I was good! I wasn’t totally sure the color I wanted and Ena worked with me to find the PERFECT natural look while still making sure It was noticeable! Silvana also helped with coloring and washing my hair, she was so kind and comforting along the way! Amazing experience I can’t wait to go back!

I went into my appointment feeling blah and was *feeling myself* by the time I left. I can’t give Harix enough praise! He is SO talented and I could not be happier with my cut and color. He is equal parts artist and stylist, which is especially crucial when it comes to curly hair. He also has a wonderful vibe and I immediately felt at ease. This is by far the best hair service I’ve ever received. Harix is truly a curly hair expert and I’m so grateful to have found him! Roots Radicals is also a lovely salon. Everyone there was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I recommend it to everyone!

Giulia is THE BEST! After I treated my roots with DIY at home and was using a shampoo that ruined the coloring she had done a few months back, she took me in, fixed my own messy doing, and made my hair beautiful, healthy, and gorgeously highlighted and colored. I promised I won't touch it ever again! Also important to mention, her hand is gold. My hair falls a lot due to an underlying medical condition and after the last cut back in Dec 2021, my hair grew quite a lot! She is sweet and very honest. Thanks, Giulia!

I love how Milla colored and cut my hair! I did full highlights for the first time after coloring for many years. Milla understood the blonde color I wanted and did a great job. I would recommend her!

I received single process treatment from Alanthif. He applied the color very thoroughly. He also did shampooing, washing, and treatment, which was very pleasant. He made sure there was time between the treatment and washing. I am overall very satisfied by his professional and thorough treatment despite back to back schedule.
