Lovely owner. Great service. I am a tourist over from the UK so was nervous about getting a wax from someone other than my regular one. I walked to the salon from Carlisle Bay but recommend getting a bus or taxi if you don’t like walking. Owner sent directions before apt with detailed instructions. Got a very warm welcome and she even cut my partners hair whilst he waited and put on paw patrol for my daughter. Wax was the exact same as back home. They listened to what my normal service was like and replicated it.

I’ve been a longtime client for makeup and waxing services. However, I finally took the step and got the microblading service done for my eyebrows. Tarin was so thorough! She explained everything before we got started and answered any questions I had. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the service and honestly (as someone who isn’t the most comfortable with needles) it was pretty painless. My brows are gorgeoussss and I couldn’t be happier!

While the procedure was generally less painful than a regular tattoo, there was some mild discomfort/sensation similar to small paper cuts. Shauna was very patient and answered my questions without fail. Would I get your eyebrows microbladed again? YES. It’s definitely worth the investment for me. I love not having to do my brows! I also like that it’s semipermanent so if I want to change my brow shape, I can in a year or so.

I loved the patience and the time that was taken to get to know likes and dislikes, that was refreshing. The spa was beautiful, comfortable and clean i liked that, I even fell asleep during my chin and brow waxing, now who does that during a waxing, that only shows how good Al is that one can sleep while hair is being ripped from ones face. Ihad such a wonderful experience at this salon I went in to get a facial wax and my toenails done, and from start to finish the service was amazing. The staff were incredibly gentle and attentive, which made the waxing process much more comfortable than I expected. They also took the time to share a lot of helpful information about skincare, explaining what products and routines would work best for my skin. I really appreciated how knowledgeable and patient they were. The entire experience felt very professional and well-organized, and the environment was clean and relaxing. I’ll def be back.

This wasn't my first time getting a Brazilian wax but I didn't get it done from island serenity,got it done somewhere else and I didn't had a great experience. But when I tell you Kim talk me through everything and it was quick. Kim and her assistant really made me feel comfortable. Great service and I will definitely be back. And will recommend anyone who is thinking about getting wax but not sure try island serenity you wouldn't be disappointed.

This is my 3rd visit and I am impresses each visit. From the moment I stepped in, it felt like Christmas. During the service, the under eye patch treatment and then the face massage were nice touches to my eyebrow wax ( I didnt realise these were included in the service🙈). At the end, I received a special Christmas token. I left feeling light and refreshed. Shenice makes you feel extremely comfortable!
