Would have been better if all facilitieere were working and if a refreshments or dining optipn was nearer not the opposite side of the complex. Staff were friendly the working facilities were good and I can imagine on summer it's lovely but service was slow (due to other prioritised functions happening at the same time)

Fantastic therapists doing great massages. I think the leisure area could do with another thermal pool perhaps where the table and chairs are near the scented saunas?

Nice facilities but, the ventilation in the female changing room needs to be improved. Air conditioning needs to be considered or at the very least the airfans need to be cleaned. It is very uncomfortable as it is.

My daughter and I had a lovely day today. We arrived at 9.30am and used the spa facilities and relaxed in the sunshine until our massage treatments at midday. Feeling super relaxed, we went to the brasserie for a wonderful lunch. We loved the whole experience.

It was a good day. My mum and I do it often. There could be a few more loungers than sofas inside ideally and on busy days you feel you have to queue for the saunas or jacuzzi as they're quite small and only suitable for 2 or 3 people at a time. The lockers are now a good size and free which is great but again the changing rooms are quite basic and small and I can never get the shower to more than a warm-ish temperature. We love the massage jets in the pool. The outside area is beautiful and it's always pretty clean everywhere.

The lunch was lovely and the outside spa area was great. It was nice having an indoor pool although slightly disappointing only 6 loungers are available. With around 30 people in the spa, there was nowhere to chill and relax. The spa massage treatment was good and felt refreshed afterwards. One area in need of refurbishment is the gents changing room. The toilet is out of order meaning a walk through 2 corridors and directly through the reception area to the next available (wearing trunks/ robe and wet). The changing room is tired (flooring, showers and shower cubicles) and let's it down.

Staff friendly and helpful. Bar area pleasant. Beauty/massage treatment rooms and relaxing area appeared clean? and were tidy.Unfortunately the spa areas are in need of a deep clean! Inside the swimming pool there was a fair amount of silt at the bottom including a discarded sticking plaster. Around the pool there were clumps of hair and in corners behind the longer beds built up dirt/grime and cobwebs which would suggest that the whole floor area isn’t sprayed down/treated/disinfected each night! The water in cooler was tepid not nice and cool. Ladies changing rooms dirty and decor tired.

Fantastic as always, would highly recommend and will be back in the near future. Thankyou

It was a pleasure to visit with my sister - the staff were lovely, the pool wasn’t too busy and the water in the pool was a lovely temperature. The Bubbles room was a calm and lovely place to have a pot of tea even if this seemed to be an odd request 😆. We sadly didn’t get to experience of the outdoor jacuzzi as the 15 minute session wasn’t adhered to! But we did enjoy the sauna and indoor jacuzzi. Our only thoughts are that it could all be updated as the decor and lighting all felt a little bit tired. We visited a few years back and nothing has really changed. The luxury is missing.

We have visited the IOW for over 20 years and have never been here before. I surprised my wife with a lunch and spa deal. The lunch in the brasserie looked and tasted superb. The service was very good with friendly and attentive staff. We left stuffed and satisfied. We then went for 3 hours in the spa. Again the lady on the spa reception was lovely and helpful. The spa was great with everything in working order. A good choice of saunas and indoor and outdoor jacuzzis. It was very tranquil and we left refreshed and vitalised. We will definitely be visiting again if not just for lunch.

Went in today for a full body massage with my mum for a birthday treat for her and we both had the best experience. I went in with a fractured ankle and she was very attentive to not go near the area. Best 55minutes I’ve had in a long time, just wish it didnt end, will definitely be going back for another.

The spa was lovely, lots of different things to do and we were very relaxed. Unfortunately the lunch part of the day was very disappointing. I ordered the Caesar salad and I have never been served such a tiny portion for a main meal. It was served with what looked like boi or pak choi and was char grilled. This was in edible and did not belong in a Caesar salad. The staff were lovely though and the guy in the brassiere offered me an exchange but I declined as my husband had nearly finished his meal.

I loved the spa experience, I had the Hopi ear candles and my Husband had a massage and we both thoroughly enjoyed our treatments and felt very relaxed afterwards - thank you!

Overall it was a good experience. However, my daughter said that during her back massage there was no music in her treatment room & all she could hear was the masseuse sighing as if she was bored. The other problem was people putting towels on the loungers to save their place, I can understand if they are just in the pool. But, it seemed that it was happening whilst they were having treatments. This isn't really fair & reminded me of round the pool on holidays. Despite the above, I had a good time & my massage was very relaxing. Also, a lovely afternoon tea.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful morning in the spa and a very tasty afternoon tea in the brasserie. Top marks for excellent customer service Lakeside, particularly from the spa reception team. Kayleigh looked after us expertly. I had made an error on booking unfortunately, but we were bowled over by the way she worked to ensure we still had a special morning. Kayleigh is friendly, attentive and highly professional and a credit to the company. Our heartfelt thanks go out to her x

We come every year and love it. A couple of things however do need some attention. The jacuzzi water seemed a little dirty. The young man who was in attendance in the spa unfortunately had a body odour that was unpleasant. The shower in the room, although had great preasure it was unstable and needed descaling. There was also not enough toilet roll. It was lovely to see an upgrade of the bed cushions and throws. Lunch was fantastic and the cocktails delicious.

How I have missed The Spa after closure of Membership, and how I loved my swim and time in the hot pool this morning. What a surprise to be given a named brochure with photo membership card, and the gift makeup purse with useful contents. I am so looking forward to many more visits this year. Thank you Valerie

I had my 60th birthday party with the girls. 10 of us had the most amazing time in the spa. The evening dinner and party was the icing on the cake. 10 out of 10 from all of us. We are going to sort out another weekend with you in the new year. A big thank you for making my birthday memorable. X

Went for a massage, although it was good, it was not as vigorous as my last one, I would have preferred a harder massage than the masseuse did give me this time, I will make that clearer when I book next time. All in all the experience was pleasant.

Reasonably priced experience, with good quality spa facilities and an excellent meal for lunch. Sadly had to cut short spa experience from 3 hours to 2 hours to make sure we could order lunch before the restaurant closed - wish this had been explained earlier, or a discount was applied.

The spa and treatments and surroundings are beautiful and I enjoyed immensely. Unfortunately, I had to wait for over 30 mins for my afternoon tea. I was shown to a table outside which was dirty with leftover food. I was offered a tea straightaway. I was then let down by the wait. Yes there was a wedding on, but other customers got their food very quickly. I was clearly forgotten about. A few years ago, a similar thing happened - I chose not to complain at the time, but i feel I need to now after Friday's episode. thanks
