What is cupping therapy?

Cupping therapy is an ancient practice where special cups are placed on the skin and suction is created, either by heat (fire cupping) or mechanical suction (vacuum cupping). The suction lifts the tissue, promoting blood flow, loosening fascia, and releasing tension. It is used in both TCM and sports medicine.
