During cupping therapy, a practitioner will place special cups onto your skin to create suction; this pulls the tissue beneath the cups upwards and increases the flow of blood to the area. How often should I go for a cupping therapy session?

It depends on your goal and the condition you want to treat. You may initially be advised to have an appointment every 1-2 weeks, but ask your practitioner – they’re best placed to advise you on the session frequency based upon your body and its needs. For general wellness, you can have cupping therapy once a month. You should leave at least a week between appointments.
