I had the best experience with Kadie at Elevated Body Adornment. I went in thinking I’d need new ear piercings, but it turns out she was actually able to reopen my old ones. Kadie was incredibly gentle (no pain!) and she completely calmed my nerves from the moment I arrived. Her knowledge, experience, and eye for styling are next level. Very positive and friendly experience for my birthday as a queer, neurodivergent, disabled trans person. They were super understanding of the transit nightmare to get to their studio, and allowed me to still be pierced even if I was a bit late. I called 30 mins earlier to let them know. The piercing process was very professional and surprisingly not that painful. They explained the aftercare to me well and I feel confident that my ears won't be infected this time. Kadie was awesome to work with, definitely recommend working with them or this studio.

This place is always a great experience. The other day was my first time visiting as the person being pierced and I felt totally comfortable and taken care of the whole time. I got there a few minutes after my scheduled appointment time and they were still able to accommodate me, however if you’re there on a busy day, be prepared to wait for a while! Still service was great, and I have a piercing I’m super happy and excited about. Love the queer friendly spaces, and I was able to bring a buddy for emotional support - keep the good vibes going!

I was so so nervous about getting my nipples pierced but Katie (as always) made this experience super doable and as little pain as possible. I appreciate her perfectionism and transperency about the healing and piercing process. For someone like me who is particular about wound healing, Katie’s knowledge is so so so in depth and she has always helped me navigate the entire process even months (or even a year) after piercing was completed. I will ALWAYS recommend Kadie and she is my go to piercer for a reason.

What an amazing and unexpected experience! Our young daughters were immediately comfortable as they were able to draw on the walls of the basement while they waited! Everything was explained very calmly and clearly to both parents and kids, and nothing came as a surprise. We even got to choose our own music to be played during the piercing! I cannot express how well thought out everything was. Thank you so much for making this an experience to remember! We would highly recommend to any other kids wanting their first lobe piercings.

Amazing experience - super appreciate the waiving of the install and anodization fee! Really shows there are caring and amazing humans working there! Also really appreciate looking out for me long term (eg encouraging to wait for piercing to fully heal before changing jewelry type etc). Fan for life! We had an amazing experience at North York Ink! Our niece spent a week with us before going to university and we took in as much of Toronto as possible, capping our visit off with spontaneous tattoos at NYI. We were so impressed with the space/vibe and especially the staff. Our niece ranked it as her best experience of the week! Taylor was friendly and welcoming from the start. I already knew what I wanted and she showed me the available jewelry, helped adjust placement of the piercing (nostril), talked me through the procedure and then quickly and efficiently placed the stud in my nose. Definitely recommend!

Had my ears pierced recently by Taylor. The earring selection at North York Ink was much nicer than any of the local jewelry boutiques and a better value. The procedure was quick and painless with no issues afterwards. A few weeks later I had to come back to have them taken out for a planned MRI. Taylor replaced the earrings with some MRI compatible plastic so that the holes would not close up. The next day, Taylor put the earrings back in. Again, it was quick and painless. Taylor was really good at explaining the after-care and patiently answered all of my questions. Great job, Taylor!

Taylor is great and very talented. I went in for an upper lobe piercing and my daughter did a belly piercing. Taylor was very informative and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Taylor to anyone interested in piercings.
