This was my first time coming to the salon. I had yuki as my stylist. They were amazing. I loved everything about my visit there. Love my haircut and the final product. They were very kind and polite and asked questions to make sure they understood what I wanted. I think it’s worth every penny.

I always have a great experience with Yuki as well as the salon in general. It also still amazes me how much each stylist does for their clients and how willing the stylist are to help each other out. Yuki is an expert in his craft. I’ve never had a haircut and shave that left me so incredibly relaxed. His meticulous attention to detail is what keeps me coming back. Unfortunately I am not a native of Hawaii, but I will be sure to come back to this salon on my next trip. Best haircut and straight shave in Honolulu by far.

I had a great experience from the phone call to book my appointment all the way to when I finished my appointment and left the salon. I showed Eikoh some reference photos and he understood right away. The shampoo before and after my cut was great and the head massage was thorough and relaxing. Eikoh was very precise and exacting; I could easily tell he was very focused on details with every little tweak. I would definitely come back to get my hair cut there again!

Taylor provided me with the best haircut experience I have ever received. I have been to a few salons and barbershops that have provided great haircuts, but this was top notch. The ambiance was exactly what I want in a salon and everyone was so kind and welcoming. The shampoo service before and after the haircut was a very nice touch and not often seen in barbershops around island. The haircut itself was absolutely perfect and that’s saying a lot because I do have difficult hair to work with. Today’s appointment is the reason I will be a regular at the salon.

My son and I really enjoy coming here to get our haircut. The staff at Sky are very friendly and very professional. And with the current conditions with Covid19 they are taking excellent precautions in order to keep everyone safe. I Highly recommend this salon. A work of art! A very precise and detail oriented salon with amazing staff and service. Yuki was my stylist and did wonderful job! Cant wait to work with the others. You are paying for quality and professionalism. By far the best haircut I've gotten!

Arigato! Yuki. Truly a master of his craft. He makes me feel comfortable the moment I step in the salon. The service he provides beats the experience of going to a luxe spa. I always add after my haircut the 30 minute deluxe head spa treatment. I highly recommend! It’s so soothing and relaxing that I find myself snoozing off at times. The salon chair fully reclines into a flat bed and it’s comfy enough with their generous cover linen and hot towels. I also love their aroma therapy they use. If I’m not mistaken, ‘frangiapani’ which are very commonly used in spa’s in Bali or Thailand.

As always, Eikoh-San did an amazing job with my haircut and the whole crew at the Grooming Salon Sky always make me feel welcome! Mahalo!

As Ive said in my previous review, this salon deserves a 5-star rating. My stylist Yuki is very meticulous with his art/craft. Very respectful, ‘unhurried’, clean quality work. And if you haven’t tried the deluxe scalp/head-neck-shoulder massage after your haircut, you’re missing out. It’s way better than at a regular spa places. Leo M

Best salon in Hawaii.

Whichever I book, I always add the 30 minute Deluxe Head Spa (scalp, neck, shoulder massage) after. It is the ultimate pampering finale of a hair salon experience. It is so relaxing that I fall asleep a few times. I’ve had Yuki & Eiko and both are exceptional! I can say they are far better than a licensed massage therapist. And the haircut of course is always on point. Salon is clean with a relaxing spa lounge music. And ohhh, the hot towels just keep coming. So generous. And the lemongrass ginger essence is enough to transport me to Bali or Bangkok. I love this place!
