Fantastic beauty salon! This beauty salon is essential to me. I have my nails, lashes and brows done and they all look incredible every time. I've tried a few locally previously which were pretty disappointing, but The Nail Jar which I've now been going to for over a year I can honestly say has been AMAZING! Nothing's ever too much trouble. I highly recommend this beauty salon to anyone looking for a professional, quality beauty service. The salon staff are lovely, friendly and professional. I have all my beauty treatments done by Mel the owner, my goodness she know's her profession well.

My nails must really like the Gel Builder that Carrie uses as they had grown quite long and needed a good file. For this visit, I chose sparkly nail gel in a nude colour which I am very pleased with and know that my nails look really good. Carrie takes so much trouble over the treatments that she does and although it must be intense for her to get it exactly right, she is always relaxed and very friendly, creating a calm atmosphere in the Salon which gives the customer a very good experience.

I had three lovely treatments - facial with neck, shoulder and arm massage, pedicure with gel and manicure with gel. A truly relaxing morning and the ultimate luxury of a heated blanket on the couch when I had the facial. During this treatment, I also benefitted from the low lighting, the glow of a candle and unobtrusive music in the background. The salon was warm and comfortable and Carrie was her usual friendly, efficient and professional self.

Always have a laugh with Melly, nice nails/brows=happy gal Salon and Melly is so welcoming would recommend to anyone 💅🏻

I had the usual very warm and friendly welcome from Carrie and Salon dog Ziggy, ecstatic to see the first customer of the day. My pedicure and manicure was very enjoyable and Carrie took so much trouble to make sure the gel was perfect and it looks great. I never feel rushed at any appointment and the atmosphere is so calming and relaxing. She has a very wide range of gel colours to chose from in a lovely display case, ranging from pastels to dark colours, shiny or plain. The colours suit every mood and occasion and I now have sparkly dark pink toes and nude dewy finger nails.

Amy was amazing. I always feel so welcome in the salon. Even when I don’t know what to have done amy will give me plenty of options. In love with my new set of nails and will definitely be back!

The treatment was so relaxing and my skin definitely needed it. Carrie uses quality products which my skin really likes, as seen in the results. Not only it is a facial treatment, but a wonderful neck, shoulder, hand and lower arm massage too. My skin isn't oily or greasy afterwards, just glowing and is a real confidence booster. I would thoroughly recommend this very enjoyable hour of 'me' time in a clean and comfortable salon, relaxing lighting and music.

As usual, the warmest of welcomes from Carrie and Ziggy her beautiful salon dog when I went for some nail infilling and gel build up. Carrie is so professional and the quality of her work is absolutely first class. I am really pleased with the way my nails are looking and they have obviously benefitted from the treatment. It has given me so much more confidence and I am no longer ashamed of them, because I used to bite them badly. I don't do that any more and do not feel the need because it would ruin the look Carrie has achieved.

Melly is a very experienced nail technician and I trust her completely with my nails. Her manner is friendly and relaxed but very professional. The salon has a lovely atmosphere and all of the technicians make you feel welcome whenever you visit. I always look forward to my appointments at The Nail Jar. Today Melly produced some wonderful Christmassy designs on my nails freehand and I allowed her to choose the design as I trust her to give me a look that is always aesthetically pleasing. I would wholly recommend you visit The Nail Jar as they offer a wide variety of treatments.

I had a lovely warm welcome from Carrie and felt completely relaxed right away. This time I commenced a nail building programme for my fingernails which she explained would take time to perfect, but already they look amazing. Carrie is so friendly and has a beautiful salon. She uses good quality products and is obviously very passionate about her work and her knowledge as a beautician is extensive. I would thoroughly recommend her and her excellent treatments together with the expert way she carries this out.
