I went in to get gel nail polish removed from another salon. Val did a great job removing it with damaging my nails. I also had soo much fun these ladies are so sweet and have so many interesting things to tell you. I honestly can’t wait to go back!!

Val worked her magic on my son’s thick, unruly hair. I’ll never get over how considerate she is of his feelings and how sensitive she is to his sensory issues. Like most boys his age, he has to be dragged into the salon, but he always leaves ApPIERances in a great mood.

The best salon in town. It is a warm and friendly environment. They truly take the time to embrace their customers. Val is amazing, I always know I'll get exactly what I ask for, no surprises. She listens and delivers 100% of the time.

My appointment was for a total head coloring. once again I was not disappointed. Valerie adjusted the previous color a bit and the results were perfect. Not to mention the friendly atmosphere.

My experience is always great in at Appearances. They treat the customers like family. Well, Halloween 👻🎃 is coming fast. So maybe you would like to do orange, or purple in your hair for a party or something. Or just for fun for the truck,or treaters. Or maybe you want your nails done for Halloween.Something to think about. Do it soon before they fill up. Val is looking for salon workers who love that kind of work. 8-22-24, My experience was great! To all people out there Yous need to try Appearances and barbering salon. It's very neat, nice, clean, and the woman, are excellent, to work with. You get very nice service, they offer coffee, hot, and cold tea, hot choc, water. Lots of flavored hot tea to pick from. After your service and you put in a review the next time you go back to get to choose a gift, and they offer a treat. Val is looking for salon people to work on hair, nails, pedicure. Soon time for back to school so start thinking of a new cut for the fall season. That includes all men, boys

Carmen did an amazing job on my son’s very tricky hair. She was also extremely respectful of his sensory sensitivity. He dislikes getting his haircut (or any other sitting still activity) but he was quite pleased with how he looked and walked out of the salon feeling very confident!

Another fantastic visit for my two boys! My teen for a perm, and my tween for a cut of his very thick and cowlicky hair. Val is basically a magician and is able to whip their thick and unruly hair into beautiful shape - something no other salon has managed before.

I love the Appierances salon it is a happy place. I enter looking a mess not wanting to be seen, then leave wanting to be seen. It's great.

What a wonderful experience! This salon is very friendly and so much fun! They made my day! At mid-life I’ve been struggling to get my limp, baby fine hair to grow. I went to freshen up my blond with foils and a trim. Not everyone has the skill to effectively deal with my hair type. My hair looked amazing! And I walked out with product samples, advice and ideas for styling my hair, and plan to maintain and grow my super fine locks. I think this was the best salon experience I’ve ever had. Also you have to see their ocean floor!

Very nice! I never complain about those girls in at Appearances. They treat you like family. Always, have treats to give you. Anyone goes in there will never regret it. You always, have laughs with those girls. As of now Val, is looking for hair dressers, and a barbers. Even if you are a woman, that can do barber would be great. Any field in that give Val a call on it. Still time to get that nice summer cut, nails, pedicure. Give appearances a call, you won't be disappointed. 😊
