The entire team at Shine On exceeded expectations. I don’t know thst I’ve had a salon experience in Chicago where I felt I was actually being listened to when explaining what I’m looking for. Noah took the time to explain what he was doing, including what I could expect two and three cuts out. I had eyebrow threading done with Weronicka and she too was amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a grown up experience. I’ll be sharing the Shine On business card with friends and look forward to my next salon day.

I travel the country 10 months out of the year, so I’ve sat in a lot of different barber chairs from coast to coast. That being said it my opinion that Shine on is the best barber shop in the country. I’m not local to Chicago either, I travel from Arkansas to get my haircut and beard by Julio. I’d trust any member of the staff to cut my hair, everyone is top notch. At shine on you are made to feel like family. I feel like the most handsome man alive every time I leave their establishment.

The staff was friendly and could tell I was new to the whole manicure experience, so they were patient with me as I obviously didn't understand what was going on most of the time. Other nail salons seem to enjoy making a guy suffer with a nail file, but my nail tech (is that the correct term?) was an angel. I experienced no discomfort getting my nails done for the first time ever.

This was my first time at Banana Nails and I was blown away! I saw Iryna and she did a fabulous job. My nails have never looked this good! I've been getting my nails done at another salon and from the quality of the manicure to the customer service, it was like night and day. Iryna spent a ton of time and was meticulous in her work. The salon space is nice and very clean, everyone is friendly and overall such a pleasant experience. I just found my new nail salon!

This is my second time coming to Banana Nails and I’m happy to say I’m very pleased with the shop! The girls are all so friendly and kind. My nail tech Mya is amazing! Even tho I get the basic E-file manicure with a clear polish, my nails end up so pretty and fresh! Mya is so gentle and great at her job! Highly recommend!

This was my first time here and it was a fantastic experience. I had the pleasure to be serviced by Nanis which in fact was her last day there. I did the Jelly pedicure and a no chip, nail hardener with design and it was a fantastic experience getting it done. I shall make future appointments to see how the other ladies at Banana Nails use their skill on my nails. Glade I had the opportunity of getting my pampering done at Banana Nails after this long quarantine and before the second wave hits. I highly recommend this place for great pampering experience and skilled nail technicians.

Absolutely amazing!! Maja was a pleasure to talk to and sincerely cared about her work. Attention to detail was impeccable and she was efficient, thorough and made an even better suggestion for a color that I picked out. Once we tried it- I realized my mistake and she knew exactly what I wanted- more soap nails, less white out lol. My own rabbit fur floated onto one of my nails and she spotted it instantly and corrected it- she has eagle eyes. I have honestly never been to a place where someone did this great a job with just a basic manicure. I rebooked immediately for a no-chip. The best!!

The Banana Nails team at Old Irving Park is awesome! Due to my inconsistent schedule, I’ve had to work with a different nail tech almost each time, but I never have to worry since all the techs are equally talented! I’ve never been disappointed, and I always get compliments on my nails.

Love how long the gel manicures last and they have gifted nail artists. They are also very welcoming. I had my nails done by Alina and Jacinda and they were both great. Very happy with my nails!

Yo these folks know what they're doing. My job is exclusively male so I didn't want something too shiny on the manicure. I don't know her name but the miss who works there couldn't have done a more superb job. I've been to other nail salons - my ex talked me into it a long time ago a few times - but I have a job interview and I feel confident, clean, and nonetheless masculine - like I said my job is basically a frat house as far as how all us salesmen dudes behave - t she got it spot the f on. Highly recommend!
