Fantastic beauty salon! This beauty salon is essential to me. I have my nails, lashes and brows done and they all look incredible every time. I've tried a few locally previously which were pretty disappointing, but The Nail Jar which I've now been going to for over a year I can honestly say has been AMAZING! Nothing's ever too much trouble. I highly recommend this beauty salon to anyone looking for a professional, quality beauty service. The salon staff are lovely, friendly and professional. I have all my beauty treatments done by Mel the owner, my goodness she know's her profession well.

Sophie did an absolutely amazing job with my nails! She made me feel comfortable and at ease though out my whole appointment! Every single nail is absolutely prefect and I couldn’t have asked for a better set of Biab extension! Could not recommend her enough for all nail needs! 10/10!!

I love love love getting my nails done with Amy!! She’s is so fun and friendly and I love the time I spend there getting my new nails done! Amy cares so much and is fantastic at her job! Would 1000% recommend to anyone wanting somewhere to get there nails done!!!

A lovely manicure was just the perfect treat for a cold, wet and windy day. Carrie's Studio is always so clean, tidy, light, airy and welcoming and it was lovely to just relax for an hour and be pampered. Since Carrie has been doing my nails, I get comments nearly every week about how good they look, even from healthcare professionals as I sometimes need the oximeter on my finger. Only last week, as the nurse did this she said 'oh I like your nail colour' and it made me feel a million dollars and gave a real boost.

A fab appointment as always! Great nails with a huge choice of colours and lovely chat as well. Love my nail appointments! Xx

I have been coming to Melly for a while now and I love coming to get my nails done with her! She is the best to natter with and treats my nails with such care and she understands how sensitive they are. The nail art is unmatched! ✨ I’ll be back soon after my nails have a break 🤭

I had the usual very warm and friendly welcome from Carrie and Salon dog Ziggy, ecstatic to see the first customer of the day. My pedicure and manicure was very enjoyable and Carrie took so much trouble to make sure the gel was perfect and it looks great. I never feel rushed at any appointment and the atmosphere is so calming and relaxing. She has a very wide range of gel colours to chose from in a lovely display case, ranging from pastels to dark colours, shiny or plain. The colours suit every mood and occasion and I now have sparkly dark pink toes and nude dewy finger nails.

When you visit Fleur you feel as if you are visiting friends but with the added bonus of being totally pampered as well. Cannot recommend this amazing salon highly enough, it's a real gem in Barnstaple. Kitty

Just what I needed after a hospital stay and where it was necessary to reschedule my original appointment, which was done without any fuss and complete understanding. Carrie was genuinely interested in my health, not just a quick mention but a sincere enquiry taking the time to listen, while she expertly did my pedicure and manicure. My feet and hands look fantastic with sparkly red toes all ready for Christmas and I'm looking forward to 2 more appointments before the big day, a facial and my nails for a refill. It isn't just a business for Carrie, she really cares about her clients.

Sophie is just amazing no matter what she’s always making me laugh and doing amazing nails! All the girls in there are amazing and professional even when rude people who don’t read policy’s of the salon and have a go at the owner Kat (who is also amazing and is the kindest soul on earth) who is just trying to run her business! The copper fox is an amazing salon and never once have i felt uncomfortable in there! Your amazing girls I love you!

Absolutely brilliant x nails perfect and love the nail art

Lovely warm welcome by Carrie and her gorgeous Cockapoo. The pedicure was excellent with nail tidy included and this time I chose sparkly jade coloured gel from the very extensive range of colours. Very comfortable, clean salon with a relaxing ambience. Carrie is very friendly, takes enormous trouble over the treatment and is smartly and professionally dressed. Would thoroughly recommend and looking forward to Carrie making a start on my finger nails to build and strengthen them ready for gel polish, as recommended by Carrie rather than nail extensions, as I like my nails short for typing.

Sophie is just amazing! Insanely talented and amazing what she does my nails always look fabulous!

My nails really needed attention as my regular appointment had to be rescheduled. I came away from the salon with lovely, perfectly manicured nails looking so much better, neat and tidy with a nude sparkly nail gel. One hour of me time bliss in a busy day.

Simply the best nail technician I’ve ever met and I’ve met a few. The highest quality prep work leading to high quality long lasting nails. Can’t recommend highly enough ❤️
