I loved my experience here, I'm so grateful that curly hair salons like this exit! My hairstylist Muffie was SO wonderful!! Not only was she so knowledgeable about all things curly hair, but she was so kind, caring, and patient in listening to all my concerns, and tirelessly answering my barrage of questions! Finally found a great hair expert in Jocelyn. She was very knowledgeable. She trimmed and silk pressed perfectly. She even fixed bad hair layers from a previous salon I went to and really knows her stuff. I will be back for sure.

I had my appointment with Betchie. First off, she’s the best! If you’re thinking of booking with her, you won’t regret it. I was initially unsure of the style because it was my first time doing it but right away she made me feel super comfortable. She also kept checking in with me throughout the session to ensure I was comfortable. She was extremely patient and took her time to ensure the hair was done well. She also let me know about a promo that saved me some money. I left the salon extremely satisfied with my hair and would definitely be back soon :)

I feel happy and comfortable with the results of my haircut. I received the best attention from the salon staff (especially Nasrin, she was my hairdresser… definitely a kind and talent woman), and I would recommend it to my friends. They took their time working on my haircut and were focused on giving me what I was looking for. They were also very kind and patient with me, my baby and a friend (who were with me during the visit). It’s a nice location and a nice place with a good vibe and mood.

The location is right by Coxwell station, both accessible and convenient. There are not many places like this that offer silk presses services for doily hair, so I’m so grateful to have found this salon! My stylist was incredibly kind and thorough. She carefully washed and conditioned my hair, asking often if I was comfortable. Though I left not in love with the shape of the trim-turned-haircut I was given, I appreciated the stylist’s attention to detail and care.

I came to Carins for the color service as I have natural hair and wanted to make sure I didn't damage it through color. They did a great job and color matched me exactly. The service did take a lot longer than planned but they didn't rush me and got my hair right! Thank you

I had such a wonderful experience here today with Tamara! It was my first time getting a curly cut and even just visiting a curly hair salon in general. She was incredibly patient and took her time with my hair. She was also very informative about my hair type, and the products I should be using. I’m happy with the results I left with, and will be coming back for services in the future.

My teen daughter got her hair cut by a curly hair specialist for the first time and it came out beautifully. She showed the stylist a inspo of what she wanted and got exactly that. Her stylist even gave her hair care tips of how to take care and enhance her curls. I highly recommend this salon.

Tonika used the perfect amount of product, and her thorough wash, conditioning, and detangling made a noticeable difference. Throughout the appointment, she consulted with me on my hair's condition and offered valuable suggestions. The curly cut was excellent, and I left completely satisfied. Today I was serviced by Christine, And I'm glad I did! It was my first time being in a salon since 2018, and my first haircut since late 2017? Thanks covid! She was very patient and understanding, and explained what she was doing each step of the way. She was a delight to be around, and did a great job on my hair -- between leaving the salon and coming home, I received four compliments, and I haven't even fluffed my hair out yet! Little definitely becoming back in for my semi-annual trim in December lol

She really listens and tries to understand exactly what you’re looking for, as well as give recommendations on what you can change in your routine to help meet your hair goals when you style your hair at home. Tamara behaved excellently, I just didn't feel any change in me, only shorter hair, I came out as I came in, I'm very sad because I thought that when I went to a beauty salon specialized in curly hair, they were finally going to advise me on what cut to get and can help me with the top part of my hair, which is very flat, I only got a breakout of hair, I wanted my curls to look different and sensational, but I couldn't do it 😔

Everything about my experience at Carin’s Hair Studio was amazing. It was my first time and I will for sure be going back. When I stepped into the salon both Louise and Phorsha were welcoming. I could tell they have a deep respect and appreciation for their craft based on how gentle they were and the wealth of knowledge they shared. Louise was my main stylist. She blew out and trimmed my hair l. I can honestly say I have never had as great as an outcome!
