From the time we walked in the salon we felt welcome. Such a great atmosphere. Spay did a great job on my son’s hair. He loved getting his hair washed massaged and the cut my son was so happy with. He took the time to talk to him and see what he wanted such attention to detail. My son will be back. One very happy customer.

This was my second time coming back to the salon and once again I was blown away by the service. Rob initially cut my hair and did such an amazing job, and now they’re stuck with me coming back every 3 weeks to make sure my pixie cut stays fresh. Not only is everyone super lovely, but they are also masters of their craft. Cannot recommend this salon enough!!

Always love the “look” Lee creates. His skill is so amazing - I have thick hair and wear a short style - it’s easy to leave a salon feeling my hair has been chopped rather than styled. NEVER have I had that experience with Lee, he is truly a master cutter.

I always have a great experience at Alternative Hair. The stylists are experienced, and listen to what you want. As the name suggests, they aren't afraid to attempt something a little different, nailing the brief every time! The salon has a classy, chilled vibe, complete with complimentary coffee/cocktail/soft drink - perfect for relaxing whilst the pros work their magic.

After a hair colour gone wrong with another salon I went to David Lee's, they got me booked on for a consultation and talked me through what they could do to fix it and I had an appointment within a couple of days with the wonderful Mackenzie. The result was exactly what I was after in going from blonde to brunette and I have had so many positive comments on the Colour. Also their head massages and comfy recliner chairs are amazing! Mackenzie is who I ask for when I book my appointments now. Thanks David Lee's you've been a lifesaver!

Kat, when they say you're a specialist in colouring, I believe that is an understatement. You're in fact a Genius. I had not a clue how brassy, dull and dry my blonde hair was until the Boss man's always perfect blowdry revealed your soft beautiful blonde art work. Brooke has been so caring, kind and passionate about making my experience with having my hair done so enjoyable and relaxing. Having such curly thick hair I know how much patience and how hard it can be to get it smooth. I have always gone into a salon very anxious worrying will they be able to do my hair. Brooke understands my type of hair and what is needed to always master my blow dry (straight or wavy) and I always leave the salon feeling happy. I arrive home and it’s how it was leaving the salon and for the week until I return for my next blow dry. Brooke you are amazing, thank you

I have been getting my hair done at Alternative Hair Colour Studio for two years & always walk away feeling amazing. Over this time I have gone through a bit of an identity crisis with my hair having tried a few different colours & styles, Denis & Rob have always been happy to indulge my ideas but have also been able to provide guidance when I haven't had any idea what I want to do. They are genuinely passionate about their artistry, caring about their clients & visiting this salon is like visiting with your best friends. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience, Alicia cut and styled my hair and Ambra provided advice on my scalp and hair needs too. I had a deep scrub to address some oil/ dandruff that I had no idea I had! And Alicia, who knows a fair bit about hair types, thicknesses, direction, double crowns etc gave me some really good advice on how to best cut and style my hair. I am very happy with the result, clearly this is a team of knowledgeable and experienced stylists 😊 thank you im so glad i found your salon🙏

I attended the salon to discuss my hair colour options and Cat spoke to me in terms that I could understand. ( I`m 80ish ) advised me on the right colour for my grey hair and although I messed up booking on line the staff who attended were very courteous Lee cut my hair perfect and now I`m ready to face the public agen .
