It’s my second time getting my hair done here as a visitor and the service here has always been amazing. My appointment was at 3pm, but I had forgotten about the time difference from singapore so when my flight landed, it was already 245pm! I got to the hotel at 4pm and called them up, to my surprise they told me I could still come. So grateful! I don’t live in Darwin but this place is the best hair salon here. Affordable and their skills are amazing.

I love Ribbon Hair Salon! Every time I go, I receive the same high-quality service at a consistent and reasonable price. The team is professional, and I always walk out feeling great with a haircut I love. It’s hard to find that level of consistency these days, but Ribbon delivers every time. I’m so glad I tried this salon! Tony, the stylist and assistant Francesca (I’m sorry if I heard and got your name wrong) was lovely and Tony so talented, the way he did my cut and blowout was awesome!! and he took the time to make sure I was comfortable with every step of the process. A simple hair cut/style haircut, wash and dry done in under an hour and under $70! The salon was clean and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Everyone was accommodating. Delightful little salon in the city and would strongly recommend them. See you in a few weeks for my colour guys! 💕

Did my son’s haircut (4yo). Showed him a picture of a haircut my son had by a previous hairdressers and he ran with it. It ended up being a better haircut than the photo, lol so now I have a new haircut style. Will be coming back to him.

Always great! Went today with my daughter and they spoilt her rotten as usual and made her feel so special. Haircuts for the both of us made us feel 1 million dollars! Best salon in Darwin.

I had such a great experience at Helmet Hair in Darwin! The team was super friendly, welcoming, and really listened to what I wanted. My stylist took the time to make sure everything was perfect, and I walked out absolutely loving my hair. The vibe in the salon is relaxed but professional — you can tell everyone there genuinely cares about what they do. Having been in Darwin 6 years and going through a few salons finding it hard to achieve the “hot girl blonde” it as been amazing to find Kirsty. Feels like seeing an old friend with the bonus of having amazing hair at the end. I have never been happier with my hair and the condition it’s been left in to help me achieve me healthy hair goals at the same time as the perfect colour. I cannot recommend her enough you definitely will feel 100% after having a visit with her.
