Fantastic service. My little boy hates getting his hair cut usually lots of screaming crying, tantrums and in the past we have had to leave barbers with half a hair cut. Today after a year of super fidgety hair cuts at Fidgets he walked in sat in a car, tablet in hand and had his first hair cut with no issues. Big thank you to the hairdressers at Fidgets they work miracles.

Top tier cut from Dan as always. I miss getting my hair cut by Jack, but he’s now the Taylor Swift of the HP so you need mates at TicketMaster to be able to get a seat with him. If you’re a massive fan of Josh Hartnett, he now works at the Whitley Bay shop.

Another great cut at the Hoi Polloi. I was initially very apprehensive, as my usual barber Jack was on holiday. Jack has such an ease with the tools of his craft it truly is a joy to behold, but Scotty really took care of me and provided a first rate service. Scotty has blossomed into a fine barber I must say. Overall, It was a big change for me, but there is a life lesson in there somewhere I am sure.

I've found it! Had my haircut all over the UK and never really came across somewhere that ticked all the boxes, until now. A haircut used to be a chore now I always look forward to my hoi polloi experience. Despite these guys being constantly fully booked they always manage to create a relaxed, calm & assured experience, something I feel is very rare in the barber game. Great work gents 👊

Fantastic! I was running late having hit traffic and getting lost parking and they were lovely about it and luckily still saw us! My son was very happy sitting in the car to have his hair cut (used to be meltdown central at the barbers!).

Fantastic! The girls were amazing. Did my youngest’s 1st haircut again at Fidgets Whitley Bay and it was smashing! Thank you so much!

Alicia is the only barber in the whole of the North East that my son trusts to cut his hair! She really listens and understands what he wants and he always leaves really happy and looking great!

Best haircut I've had - and I have had a lot of haircuts (at very expensive city centre barbers in Manchester etc)! Alicia is also lovely and sociable. I would highly recommend to anyone.

The hairdresser was friendly and very relaxed with my son who was getting his first professional haircut and can be quite nervous around new things or loud spaces. He loved sitting on a motorcycle barber chair and the relaxed environment kept him calm and happy. When we left he was already asking if we can go back so he could sit in the police car.

My son hates getting his hair cut and hasn’t had it done for months, I didn’t have high hopes of him allowing the hair cut at fidgets. Our barber today was Laura who was amazing and got the hair cut done with no tears !!! She was fantastic and will be returning to see her

First time getting my haircut in 5 years due to wanting to grow it out and not trusting other barbers after cutting it way too short in the past, had been cutting it myself leaving quite a mess to sort out Alica was friendly and chatty and listened to what I wanted :)

I had my first haircut with Alicia yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier! The shape and tidy-up = looks absolutely perfect. Fantastic to have such an excellent barber right here at the coast. The atmosphere was top-notch, relaxed, and welcoming. My hair looks exceptional this is my go-to spot from now on. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t rate this salon any higher if I tried. My son had a bad experience at a normal barbers, and had a nuclear meltdown whenever I tried to take him to cut his hair. The girls were great from us walking through the car. They popped him in a car, turned on peppa pig and he comped on a little chocolate whilst she chopped away. She got him involved by getting him to turn the clippers on and putting them in his own head which he loved. My son and I will definitely be regulars.

Fantastic barber, my 4 year old who doesn’t sit still in most circumstances sits so well for Alicia. Really takes the time to cut his hair with scissors and we love his haircuts!

Second time I’ve been. Alicia is great craic and is excellent at cutting and styling. A little more expensive than other local barbers but definitely worth the extra.
