I had the BEST experience here today. Both with beauty and hair. I was very worried about finding a new hairdresser and beautician since moving to Christchurch but I will 100% be back. I started going to Beauty in the City after moving to CHCH in 2024. Raj is an absolute delight to deal with, she doesn’t cut corners and everything she does is amazingly good and professional. At her Edgeware branch, I had the privilege of being seen by Amelia for a relaxation massage and she did not disappoint. Amelia carries a professionalism and truly knows what she’s doing. She’s well mannered, explains what she is doing, checks in on you and is overall super knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and safe throughout my appointment there. Definitely give this place a go💙

I have had the best experience at Kess Hair and Beauty at the Crossing. Danish is an experienced and professional hairdresser and a super nice person - friendly and genuine customer service with a smile! This is my first experience with eyebrow threading and I am very satisfied and happy with the result.

We have only just moved to Christchurch and needed to find a hairdresser fur both myself and my husband. I drive past Divine every day and decided without having any other ideas tried them out. Would absolutely recommend Kumar. Both myself and my husband found he did a great job, is very friendly and the salon a pleasant environment to be in. He listened to what we wanted as well as explaining whether going along the way. Will be going back for sure.
