I chose a Deluxe Mani, my 1st time. Plusses: Boa was central, easy to find & book. The salon was bright, airy, well decorated, very pink!, with matching staff uniforms. Charity was VERY quick so good if limited time. Mail shape & quality were good. I liked the air dryer to reduce smudging. Spaces to improve: Charity, in her haste, was heavy handed, twisting an already sore thumb which hurt. Gentler & slower would have been good. I felt rushed rather than relaxed. The polish range was limited - only 2 reds to choose between. A wider choice would have been welcome. I’d otherwise rate 5 stars.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, my gel manicure looks flawless, excellent quality and the nail technician really takes their time to perfect the shape and design. Portia did an amazing job on my intricate nail art and the whole experience was very relaxing. Love the clean and welcoming atmosphere, the pedicures here is top notch with a bonus great foot massage.

I had a Mani and Pedi. The Pedi door file was great. Both the Mani and Pedi cuticle work was ok, paint opacity was a bit inconsistent. The ladies are really nice, it just feels a bit odd when they have conversations amongst themselves while they have clients.

Natasha did a great job! She is a perfectionist and paid close attention to every detail. I really like how she kept the shape of my nails pretty natural while doing a thorough clean and perfect polish. I will definitely book with her again!

I love Boa Salon as I always leave fully satisfied with the treatment. My nail technician pays great attention to detail, ensuring the end result is a flawless gel application with the perfect shape. However, my only hesitation, is that the treatment takes very long. During my last visit, I had a soak-off on my feet and a re-application, along with a file and Go on my hands, and the treatment took 2 hours. Despite the lengthy time, the quality of the service and the meticulous work keep me coming back. Highly recommend if you have the time to spare.

There are almost no non gel nail polish colours at the Sea Point store. I suggest buying a few from Dischem while you wait the arrival of your own brand.

Fabulous spa. All of the staff are warm and welcoming. Luxe Mani and luxe Pedi’s were so relaxing. And the gents loved their Gents Mani and Pedis and massages too. For one of the party it was their first manicure ever and he loved it too. Thank you to everyone for being so accommodating with rearranging times and fitting all 4 of us in as a group at very short notice. Highly recommend the team there.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Loice aced the memo with my soft gel tips, catseye polish with chrome French tips. Not an easy feat but she did it super well and im so happy with the end result.

Carlin did an amazing job with my manicure! She gave me the best manicure I ever had!

The treatment was well done, given it’s my first time I was nervous about changing nail techs. However perfect shape and rubber base application. They were also kind enough to keep my appointment on a public holiday even though I was running late.

I walked in needing a soak off & express manicure because my overgrown nails were driving me insane. Colleen was friendly, super meticulous and very helpful. She saw me right away and gave me some great advice on nail maintenance. A lovely experience from start to finish =) Thank you so much

Ongi did a really good file/paint on my toes, likewise my face threading. She's a really good therapist, attentive and proficient. I like it that the salon is very accommodating.

Good, the salon equipment and nail polish just needs a good clean. Hygiene seems be “surface” only and nail polish bottles are dirty, as well as the Nail Lights. Nail files don’t get hygienically cleaned. Am a little concerned that cleanliness isn’t top of mind

I just had to write a review about my experience with Tammy at Origin Wellness Spa in Cape Town. I booked a facial, massage, and manicure package, and Tammy took care of everything. First off, her facial technique was incredible - my skin felt completely refreshed and glowing afterward. Then the massage... wow. She found every knot and tension spot I didn't even know I had and worked them out perfectly. The manicure topped everything off beautifully, and Tammy was lovely to chat with throughout the entire session.
