My first visit to The Retreat…lovely salon. I usually see Andrew at Sequoia in Newbury, he always cuts my hair beautifully. Will be returning to the retreat as it’s a very calm environment. See you in December!!

I moved from Newbury to Oxford 3 years ago, but still come back to Newbury to have my hair done, as it’s the best Hair cut/blow dry by far. Well worth the drive. Ros

A salon that is down to earth and makes you feel welcomed. All staff are friendly and make you feel at ease as soon as you walk in. A good vibe salon!

Great first experience at Elcot Park Retreat and I really appreciated not feeling rushed. I left with a great hair cut which was just what I wanted hence the 5***** review. It’s a beautiful setting too so worth a ten minute drive from Newbury.

Amy very professional and friendly as always, colour ended up a little darker than expected but highlights bring it up, next time will try a little lighter

Super but assistants are needed for blow drys at Elcot if you are offering colours otherwise the service is not as good as the Newbury salon. Twice now told there isn’t time or capacity for a blow dry which is disappointing.

Amy was fantastic, I was really fed up with my hair colour and desperately needed a pick me up. Amy interpreted what I wanted exactly, and I am really pleased with the results!

Great experience with Lauren at Elcot Park. Lauren took great care to talk through with me exactly what I wanted and I’m delighted with my highlights. Will definitely be returning either to Elcot Park or their beautiful salon in Newbury where Joseph always does a brilliant haircut.

The salon was brilliantly set up after lockdown, was a joy to be back, always have a good laugh with the ladies at LK and Vicki’s haircut was awesome as always and felt amazing after.

Kayleigh did my nails and my daughter’s. Kayleigh was really professional and a delight to talk to! I’m sure it’s really difficult having to inter-face with the public all day, but she was able to make us feel genuinely valued as customers and she was really interesting to chat to. She made my daughter feel a million pounds as she’s never had her nails done before (she’s only 10). She loved the hand massage and the colour, and Kayleigh made her feel very grown up. My nails are a great colour and, 5 days on, they are chip free and look great! Kayleigh is a great asset to your business!

Just had a colour, cut and blow dry. I’m so pleased with it and the service I received was excellent. Have booked again for follow up. Can’t thank them enough. I usually have a problem with my hair cut, but not here it is just as I wanted. Thank you Chloe, I would definitely recommend.

Had a fantastic experience today with Harriet for my first Blow Dry at Sequoia. Harriet was so welcoming and listened to exactly what I wanted and executed this amazingly! Will defiantly be back again to soak up the friendly atmosphere and professional service.

Absolutely amazing! My daughter and her friend had the best time! Gill was so lovely with them, (and me; making sure i had a coffee in hand whilst i wait) letting them choose multiple colours and then taking time and care to make their nails look fab! V lucky girls. Nails look incredible and ready for Christmas. A great experience all round. Thank you so much, we’ll be back for sure!
