After a lot of unexpected lash loss from my hybrid set I was contacted by Romy to ask me to return so she could assess and fix. We decided on a fill/ new set of natural looking volumes which I am very happy with. They still look fresh as when I left on Thursday and I feel the look is more what I was after than the hybrids. Good lesson- not all interpretations of a style of lashes are the same. I’d mostly encountered volumes as full drama so didn’t want them but this paired down version is much more aligned with what I want. Happy and very pleased with the attention and thus will def return!tx!

I was excited about my first visit to Fabulash as the salon is well respected. However, less than a week later, my lashes are so sparse . As a seasoned lash doll, I know I have lots of fine lashes and it often takes more than the standard 2 hours to get a full set on my eyes. Admittedly, I was a bit late so I knew I was already on the back foot but I’ve always experienced the lash tech to either ask me to come back to fill the set properly or they’ve gone a little over 2 hrs.I was disappointed neither were offered. I found the mood too clinical even though technique and products are excellent.

I had a wonderful experience with Goodness. I did did dermaplaning, eyebrow threading, and a classic set of lashes. Goodness knew exactly what eye brow shape and lash set would suit me! I love a natural classic look and she executed it perfectly. She is also a super positive person and brings so much good energy into the space❤️

Absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Society 1840. I visit Johannesburg every 3/4 months and this is my go to place I’ve honestly never had any other reason to try and find another salon. I would say it was good cause the ambience and the atmosphere was beautiful. Loved it, my problem was that I showed the video of what I wanted which was the light hybrid lashes but I got something very different which looks nothing like what I wanted. Yes I look nice, I guess, but I didn't get what I wanted
