Anna is a wonderful hairdresser and colourist. I live in London and I now book my hair cuts and highlights in with her when I am in Plymouth. She cut my nine year old’s hair today and she was so kind and takes such care in her work - my daughter loves the cut!!

First time at Vaughans Hair and Beauty and I can honestly say what a treat. My beard had gone full wildebeest but Anna worked her magic and transformed me into something resembling a well groomed supermodel. Or at least someone who no longer frightens children! The whole experience was incredibly relaxing and one of the calmest trims I’ve had in ages. The salon has such a peaceful vibe and the view of Plymouth Sound and Drakes Island was genuinely stunning. Huge thanks to Anna for the care the chat and the craft. I’ll definitely be back.

I was looked after very well by Chloe at my first time to David&David Plymouth. She gave me a full head of highlights and then a cut. I have curly/wavy hair and i find it hard going to new places to have my hair cut. I was really happy and left the hairdressers feeling great! This is unusual for me because usually it isnt styled/cut correctly at other places Ive been. But she did exactly what I was hoping for! Thank you Chloe. I’ll be coming back soon for my next cut/colour.

Eda is the most lovely hairdresser ever, she always is so kind and makes me feel so beautiful! Im so glad I found her as I wont get my hair done by anyone else! Have had straight hair all my life until I had chemo when my hair grew back frizzy. It turns out I now have curly hair and needed a curly haircut. Phoebe was extremely thorough when explaining why my hair needed to be cut as it was, and then she took me through the products and processes I would need to do to achieve the look at home. I normally feel quite awkward at the hairdressers,but this was a truly relaxing experience. Although the salon was busy, it was very calm and personal. Thank you so much Phoebe. The salon is bright and modern with enviable views of the sea. Staff are very friendly and Anna my stylist is so clever that after 50 years of straightening my naturally curly hair, I now have a chic and curly style which I love!

My first visit to the salon for a pixie cut and a curly to straight blow-dry with Anna. She cut it exactly how I wanted it and explained what she was going to do before starting. I couldn't be more happy with my hair cut and Anna is lovely. Looking forward to my next visit. Nice salon, easy parking and beautiful surroundings.

I was so anxious going to a new hairdresser but desperately wanted a curly cut to help me on my journey of embracing my natural waves after years of straightening. From the moment I stepped in I was welcomed and taken to a chair ready even though I was early. I went for a lift and plump facial at Vaughans which was fabulous and very relaxing with beautiful smelling products Prior to the facial my skin was uneven and dull I left with my skin feel smooth and rejuvenated and definitely plump I booked another facial before I left with the lovely Nancy thank you very much
