Today was my first time visiting Hairworks. I usually go downtown Toronto near my office but I'm currently working from home. I was fortunate to have Rouba as my stylist today. My hair looks and feels incredible. She knew exactly what to do based on my short request (covid-style so we can't talk a lot). I love what she did and can honsetly say that this was the best looking blow dry I have ever had. The covid protocols were also well executed and followed. All of this for much less than what I pay at my usual stylist. Thanks for the great cut Rouba!!

Ivan is always a joy. I usually just tell him to do what he wants with my hair and EVERY TIME I walk away with a gorgeous cut that grows out perfectly. I now live in Calgary, and when I visit Toronto I always plan a cut with Ivan.

I had an amazing experience with both of the hair stylists at Bayside saloon! They took the time to do a thorough consultation, listened carefully to what I wanted, and delivered a flawless cut, colour and style. My hair feels incredibly healthy and looks exactly like the reference photo. Both of them are highly skilled, professional, and wonderful to chat with. I’ve already received so many compliments. Sherry is amazing! I absolutely love how my balayage turned out and she also kills the blowout. The 5/6 hours I was there flew by because she’s just such a pleasure to be around as well. As someone who was colouring their hair for the first time, Sherry did a great job with the consultation and then she was able to take it from there. Highly recommend!

Tasha is the best hairstylist I've ever had since I moved to Toronto! She's experienced, kind, patient, flexible and such a good listener, making sure you feel your most beautiful self. I recommend her services to any woman, especially Black women tired of spending hundreds of dollars in salons with hairstylists who do not genuinely care about their triggers.

Ayman is a great hair stylist. He and his wife make you feel welcome the minute you enter the salon. My hair has a wave in it but Ayman knows how to cut it so it styles effortlessly and is easy to manage between cuts. I have struggled to find someone to be able to cut my hair - I am so happy I found Ayman. We are fortunate to have a hair stylist at this level in Newmarket. I previously drove to Toronto every two to three weeks for a hair cut but no longer since discovering Ayman. Definitely recommend him.

I am very happy with the service at Brixton Parlour. My hairstylist Morgan did a great job on my haircut, and totally transformed my look (much needed after lockdown). Morgan was very helpful during consultation, she understood what I want to do with my hair. Morgan spent a fair amount of time consulting, washing, cutting and blowdrying my hair. This place has set bars too high, and I would not go anywhere else. I've already set up a second appointment in advance.

My first experience here was lovely! The skin consultation was extremely informative and they did not pressure me to purchase products. The experience overall was genuine and relaxed. My facialist was very meticulous and wonderful, it was the first time that I experienced microdermabrasion and they adjusted the pressure to my fit my needs.
