Minnie is the best. The salon is always clean and Minnie is great at what she does and great to talk to

Karl is very attentive and listens to all of your requests and concerns. He is patient and always tries to make sure you understand how your hair type might affect your desired look. He also teaches you how to keep your hair healthy and styled.

totally excellent; great shop and great conversation not to mention great haircut

I saw my friend with an amazing haircut and I had to ask her where/ who she got it from. I honestly cannot recommend Cheng enough for a haircut! From the moment I sat in his chair, he really took the time to listen carefully to what I wanted and made sure he understood my preferences. The result was exactly what I had envisioned, if not better. He did an amazing job with the face-framing layers, blending everything so seamlessly and creating the perfect shape for my face. The cut feels fresh, flattering, and so easy to style. I would definitely drive from SF to get a cut with him again.

Steven is the best! Truly an professional artist and stylist. Ive been searching for a salon and stylist and found one at Lunar. He can fade, taper, perm, dye and scissor work asian hair which is one of the hardest skillets in this industry. He is patient, attentive and has the ability to match the style and esthetics of his clients every detail and needs. Thank you Steven and the staff at Lunar. You guys bring the asian hair salon experience to the East Bay. You will not be disappointed.

As amazing as always. Chao did a fantastic job making my hair feel so light and fluffy. The layers are perfect, even for me who puts low effort on a regular basis. Chao cut and styled my hair as requested, and I got so many compliments when I went to work the next day.

I LOVE my haircut. Allen perfectly replicated the reference photo I showed him and listened to what I wanted. I asked to keep my hair long and he cut just enough and double-checked with me multiple times to make sure I was satisfied with the length. After the cut, Allen taught me how to style the layers with a straighter and round brush, which was a really nice touch to the service. I also was running late for my appointment due to rain-induced traffic and the staff was so incredibly understanding and kind. My new go-to salon <3 Thank you!!
