First time at Vaughans Hair and Beauty and I can honestly say what a treat. My beard had gone full wildebeest but Anna worked her magic and transformed me into something resembling a well groomed supermodel. Or at least someone who no longer frightens children! The whole experience was incredibly relaxing and one of the calmest trims I’ve had in ages. The salon has such a peaceful vibe and the view of Plymouth Sound and Drakes Island was genuinely stunning. Huge thanks to Anna for the care the chat and the craft. I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve had a back injury for around 8 years now and have the odd flare-up. This time I’ve done it good and proper (probably the worst since initial injury) and managed to get last min appt with Gabriela. Me and G had a fantastic time. His only request for Christmas was a 'spa day'. This was his first salon experience and he loved every minute, the staff were so lovely, kind and inclusive and took their time to listen to what he wanted and to make conversation with him. He came out absolutely beaming and says he wants to go back for his birthday too! I was also treated wonderfully and could relax for my treatments knowing G was being cared for wonderfully. I would definitely recommend to any parents with Sen children who would like a treat! 😁

I have a shoulder injury which has been causing me issues with my upper back and neck. Martine knew exactly where to work and her techniques just seemed to dissolve the issues over the hour. I had such a lovey and relaxing massage. I chose an Indian head massage. Nadia made me feel super comfortable and I felt less stressed. She used some lovely smelling oil and got rid of my knots. First deep tissue massage with Jess and she was very professional and kind, she got a good history before the massage. During it she was very skilled and really focused on tension points and release them. I will definitely be back

Avril has always been very friendly and professional, after recently breaking my back, and being in constant pain, I found more relief from the massages than the actual painkillers
