Lunar hair salon has one of the best customer service care. They treat you right and my stylist scissor skills are amazing. It was like a movie where hair was flying everywhere and the execution of my haircut was top tier. 10/10 would recommend.

Steven is the best! Truly an professional artist and stylist. Ive been searching for a salon and stylist and found one at Lunar. He can fade, taper, perm, dye and scissor work asian hair which is one of the hardest skillets in this industry. He is patient, attentive and has the ability to match the style and esthetics of his clients every detail and needs. Thank you Steven and the staff at Lunar. You guys bring the asian hair salon experience to the East Bay. You will not be disappointed.

Minnie was an amazing hair stylist! I loved the products she used. My hair feels so soft and healthy again. I had a root touch up, partial highlights and a haircut. Minnie always explained the products before using them on me. I've never had this experience before. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. I feel like a new person again. Thank you Minnie!

This is my first time at this salon. Karl did an amazing job on my hair. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and delivered exactly that. His professional knowledge gave me a lot of pointers for my hair. He chose the right color to blend my gray hair and the color came out bright, dimensional, and natural. The hair cut came out even better than I imagined. The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and very welcoming. The staff was friendly and professional, which made the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend!!!! 😊

Front desk staff are always nice and provide great customer services. Steven is my hairstylist, and he did a wonderful job of cutting my hair. I have natural wavy hair, so it's been difficult to find a hairstylist that knows how to cut my hair. I strongly recommend Lunar Hair Salon.

I saw my friend with an amazing haircut and I had to ask her where/ who she got it from. I honestly cannot recommend Cheng enough for a haircut! From the moment I sat in his chair, he really took the time to listen carefully to what I wanted and made sure he understood my preferences. The result was exactly what I had envisioned, if not better. He did an amazing job with the face-framing layers, blending everything so seamlessly and creating the perfect shape for my face. The cut feels fresh, flattering, and so easy to style. I would definitely drive from SF to get a cut with him again.

I LOVE my haircut. Allen perfectly replicated the reference photo I showed him and listened to what I wanted. I asked to keep my hair long and he cut just enough and double-checked with me multiple times to make sure I was satisfied with the length. After the cut, Allen taught me how to style the layers with a straighter and round brush, which was a really nice touch to the service. I also was running late for my appointment due to rain-induced traffic and the staff was so incredibly understanding and kind. My new go-to salon <3 Thank you!!

So good, I had a cunty bob haircut (above the shoulder). Karl finished my hair so quickly and was very conversational. The finished product never fails to make me smile when walking out. Such a relaxing experience. Please come here if you haven't yet!

genuinely probably the best haircut experience i’ve had. mathew blew my hairstylists from taiwan, china, and even chicago outta the water for sure. he was very meticulous and really knew how to work with my round face shape. i’m very very impressed and happy with how it turned out. 真的可以说是我经历过最棒的一次剪发体验。Mathew 绝对把我之前在台湾、中国，甚至芝加哥遇到的发型师都比下去了。他非常细心，也真的很懂得如何根据我的圆脸脸型来设计发型。我对最终的效果非常非常满意，也很开心。
