The Nail Shed Northland is a home base Nail Salon. We provide a unique, friendly and relaxing environment to get manicures in the Far North. I specialise in Natural nails using NFS Premium Rubberbase, Gel only Manicures, Gel Extensions and all my Nail art is hand painted- no stamping here !

Includes advanced cuticle prep with premium efile bits. Builder Gel is applied and correctly structured in place to ensure long wear to the natural nail.

Finished with a gel polish colour of your choice.

SHORT- no more than 5mm past the free edge
MEDIUM- From 5mm up to no longer than 10mm past the free edge 
LONG- from 10mm up to no longer than 15mm past the free edge 
EXTRA LONG- No longer than 20mm past the free edge 
💛 it is best to rebalance your nails  every 2-3 weeks to maintain your manicure structure. Any longer and the apex will no longer prevent snapping to the nail occuring and the time involved to remove and reapply product ads a lot of time to the service.

A French can be white or any colour(s) of your choice or can be a french Fade. 
-This is the standard tip without any added art e.g flowers or double lined tips 

5.BASIC NAIL ART $2.50 PER NAIL
Basic french tip, 3D glitter, basic animal print, hearts, daisies, stars, clouds, smiley faces, abstract, simple swirls, marble, 

6.DETAILED NAIL ART  from $5 PER NAIL
French tip art(e.g double french tip), detailed swirls, negative space, colour blocking, dried flowers, flames, checkered, tortoise shell, rose quartz, hand painted font, pictures(e.g. Animals, cartoon, insects, mushrooms, detailed flora)

Art Add on

This service is for those that do not require added length to their nails. 
This is an overlay of a suited Hard Gel to the type of nail you have. It is very strong with no flex and lasts 4+ weeks. 

SHORT- no more than 5mm past the free edge
MEDIUM- From 5mm up to no longer than 10mm past the free edge 
LONG- from 10mm up to no longer than 15mm past the free edge 
EXTRA LONG- No longer than 20mm past the free edge 

It is not recommended to wear these nails longer without having a rebalance of their structure to avoid causing damage from impact to the nail bed

Hard Gel overlay 

For when you want products I have applied removed without a new application or if you have product on that has lifted on most nails and needs removing of over 50% of the product before reapplying

The Nail Shed Northland- DOES NOT REMOVE SNS, ACRYLIC OR ENHANCEMENTS from other salons, only builder & gel polish from other salons. We  specialises in natural nails - structured builder gel manis and gel extensions. Please remove SNS or ACRYLIC prior to your appointment.

Introductory special 

Get the perfect bronzed glow for your next event ! A violet or green based tan to suit your natural skin tone. 
Best applied 1-2 days before your event. 

Must have eyebrows waxed, any exfoliation and waxing/shaving at least 24hrs BEFORE your spray tan. 
Avoid wearing deodorant and moisturisers to your appointment. 
You can either use the disposable underwear and hats or your own older underwear. Please note these may stain 
Bring a hair tie to tie up long hair away from your face and neck 



Spray Tan

Includes the cuticle tidied and prepped

The natural nail is then buffed and shaped, topped with a gel base coat

finished with a gel polish of your colour choice

✨The Removal add on includes removal GEL POLISH ONLY (Mine or another techs work)

Gel Extensions are nails already shaped and ready to apply. Long lasting, light weight (natural feeling). 
I will do my usual Cuticle work, shape and buff of your natural nails before application.
Will last up to 3/4+weeks just like Gel Manicure. Great for a special occasion
The price is for one colour polish.
Nail art will be extra.


Gel Extensions

A classic pedicure using premium Gel polish. Nail shape, foot buff ending with Elim moisturiser and gold spritz 

Pedicure 

Removal of other Nail techs work - Must be soft gel or gel extensions only - message to discuss Acrylics as this takes longer 

Soft builder Gel Removal (not my work)- must get new application with us

Repair a broken Nail using either Jimmy gel/Hard Gel with a form or a Gel Extension. $5 per nail fix. 

Nail Repair during service

Nail repairs out of your usual nail appointment time to repair a broken nail. Add on +$5 for each extra nail that needs repairing
