An active ingredient called botulinum toxin type A, is derived from Clostridium botulinum, a type of bacteria. The toxins' role is to stop nerves from carrying out their normal function. By preventing the release of significant chemicals, muscle contraction is also inhibited. The positive effect is to make muscles between the eyebrows relaxed, diminishing the appearance of vertical frown lines. The effect is only temporary and further treatments can be given every three months.

Lip fillers, also known as lip augmentation, enhance your lips and result in more volume, contour and definition - depending on the clients desired effect. They reduce the appearance of fine lines to give you fuller lips and a more youthful appearance.

The most popular lip filler brands we use are Teosyal, Restylane and Juvederm filler which come from hyaluronic acid. We all have hyaluronic acid in our bodies already. It gives our skin the elasticity and plumpness that gives us our youthful appearance. Both fillers are produced as a gel and neither of them contain animal or human DNA which means it is one of the safest fillers on the market today.
